  1. If you had very aggressive porting, say an aggressive dune port or drag porting, T6s would not be ideal. Then again, neither would T5s. My opinion is to get whatever you get the best deal on in the best shape... Chariot Racing on Ebay sells a billet plate for 50 bucks...cheaper than pro design, nicer than the RS garbage they put out (and yes...I know, I have a Ricky Stator plate....got it years ago.)
  2. Nice Wes... I looked on his site, and for my 96 style harness...they ONLY offer a high output. I'm seriously ready to call this guy and say look, Ricky Stator is now junk, and after 2 gone bad in 2 years...I think I have the right to say that. We are DYING to find quality stators for our bikes, but not get bent over without lube for OEM prices. (Well...rumor has it gregrob said "poop is lube") but that's another story. That RM Stator out of Canada looks to be Ricky Stator junk, too. Has anyone called or talked to this guy?? The fact his name just "happens" to be Rick is a little alarming.... I sent him an email.... It looks like the stator is on a billet plate, can you confirm that Wes?
  3. You are nuts for letting all this go that cheap....that is a smoking deal. This is a bolt on, drop in motor for someone to absolutely rip. A picture of the cub, crank and pistons will help!!! I know if I had extra cabbage I'd buy it just to make money on.

  5. Lakes motorsports in Waterford Michigan. If you don't have a LONG swingarm (up to 4 over) RB Porting near Lansing MI. Dan Hull & A&S near Lansing RDZ Racing in Fowlerville... That's to name a few. I'm pretty sure Dan @ A&S is a motor dyno, so...you'd have to take the motor out of the bike to run it. It is not a chassis dyno. Perhaps someone can chime in on that.
  6. I would bet where you ride there are no mosquitoes for miles...LOL. Honestly, there are two ways to do this... The builders are going to start you out PIG FAT so you don't smoke a motor. Very, very smart practice. Lean down from there...and you gotta have a place to ride to do that. Or you could go to a dyno and use the A/F meter to get you dialed in, keeping in mind that your actual riding locale might differ a bit from a controlled area like a dyno, but at least you KNOW your close if not dead on. Some people are intimidated by carbs....some people, like Hilarious, are intimidated by a small meal. LOL... Pick your poison.... From my personal experience with similar builds, those jetting numbers are WAY rich...

  8. Just goes to show you....every motor is different. In my 4 mil cub, Shearer inframes, cleaned up on 110 octane I ran 48 or 50 pilots, CEL needle and 152 mains...and it was crisp, 35PWKs.... We only use 55 pilots in 39PWKs for alky bikes here.... Definately start rich...work leaner from there.
  9. they range in price from 300 used (IF you can find them) up to 450 or 475.... flyinhighprerunner has a new one for sale in the box, 1-5 for 400 shipped. I'd make sure it was a dunable, sounds like a better fit for you. That is cheaper than I can get them to you for....
  10. Look at the chart.... The T6 sign off power at 7500 to 7800 RPM... At 8500 RPM, the CPI pipes are still climbing making power. For a trail bike....those T6 pipes would be the ticket. But for open sand racing and riding, you want more RPMs....
  11. Same goes for the pistons in some of the bigger cheetahs...there may be others, but Trinity for sure was the place to get the bigger bore Cheetah Pistons...
  12. I don't give that chart/graph 1% possibility of being true or accurate....if they're trying to say that's a 100% bolt on stock motor bike...it's not putting out over 50 HP... Sorry...snot happenin'.
  13. There is absolutely no easy way to answer that. You need to talk to whomever is going to port your cylinders, tell them how you plan on riding, use the pipe of their choice. Builders have their own preferences based on how they set your motor up...the rest of us are second guessing...
  14. get some dune porting, CPI or T5 Pipes.... Sooner or later, you're going to have to spend the money on suspension, etc. You might be able to blow by that YFZ...but on any area with bumps, jumps, turns...etc. He's gonna eat ya up!!
  15. They broke it...they bought it. If they shaft you, go to Vito's website. They sell the individual parts to the TORS removal kits. Idle screws, caps, etc.
  16. That is cheaper than what I sell them for without a core....and a SMOKING Deal. You won't find a better price unless you get a beat up used one... do not pass this up.
  17. I still want to build a PV Cheetah motor... Any of the guys listed can get you the motor...I don't know if Trinity stocks the PV assembly on that or not...you could give him a call. I'd think your builder/supplier of choice should have a contact on the PV assembly. Good luck with your build...

If posting all about how good someone's work is...EVEN BEFORE MOTORS ARE TOGETHER, then one day decide to pickup the porting tools and call your own shit the shit, then bash someone you've praised all along isn't two faced, I don't know what is. Like I posted, I listened to your rants about how shitty his work was, how slow his bikes are, etc. Since I never saw these bikes or saw them run...who was I to disagree? And yes, I did say there's not a lot of money in porting a drag bike. Often guys spend hour upon hour upon hour grinding away to make a few hundred bucks....there is NO denying I said that. I DID. After gathering all the stories...I made my own decision. If that's two faced....fine, call me two faced. But based on your posts...again, proven...you're an outright liar. And.... Isn't that what you've been calling Flotek all along? A liar and a cheat and a hack? That's my point....based on the posts you're no better. I more or less listened to you about how slow his bikes were....and since it was your word on bikes I never saw...I agreed based on that fact. Funny thing is...Steve told me one thing, and managed to not tell that to you which I pointed out to you. Chris...I listened to you rant on the phone for at least 20 to 30 minutes. For as much as you guys rant and rave about your fast bikes, great running shit...I've never seen you at the dunes on a holiday weekend (or at any tracks for that matter) for you guys to be talking about how fast your shit is or how fast it runs. You talk like drag racers, but ride like trail riders....there's a big difference. You have a 4 mil cub that you can't get to run right...and you've personally told me that you're ready to give up on it numerous times. I'm not sure I'd want someone porting my cylinders that gives up on something so easily....then again, it's not that difficult to spout a bunch of numbers off... Anyone can study up and read port specs.... put your name on something impressive. Trail ports don't impress me....there are hundreds if not thousands of guys that do them, and do them well. So...just so I have this straight. All you guys decided that a 370 trail port is the bomb, it rips...and is fast. Right about then..you realized you should stop lying about how good Denny's work is...even though it'd documented. Come to find out they never even rode the bike before they made the post about how bomb it was....they just kept quiet because of who he is, but all at once you decided to voice and be heard.... And...after all that, I'm two faced because Denny bought one trans off me (the same as you). Now what...you're gonna tell me the tranny you bought off me is shit. Doesn't work? Is that next? Cause I have that documented too on how well it works.... It probably wasn't wise to call Jason (the owner of E2S) a faggot, pussy, etc. and run your mouth on myspace.   22. My point has been this...all the people praising his work all the sudden ganged up and said later how terrible it was. Now that it has been exposed, Denny and Balla can state their sides of the dispute...and I think it should be left to them. Others chimed in, including myself....now I think Balla and Flotek should state their sides. I've talked to 370 on the phone. I've talked to Denny on the phone...and talked to Steve "More-Torque" on the phone....and each had a different story on a number of things. Let's let Denny and balla figure this one out.
  23. I'm sure I piss off about as many as I help...but, I try to be fair... and I'm guilty as the next guy as not always being fair or reasonable. I try to say I'm sorry and apologize like a man when I'm wrong...but I am who I am. My friends, be it at the track, on the forums, on the phone, etc., know what kind of guy I am and I've never claimed to be any more than that.... I have contacted Denny and given him the opportunity to say a few words here, and that is his place...not mine.

  25. You're about to join ball in the foot in mouth club. I didn't say he has no idea wtf he's doing, YOU IMPLIED it by saying he believed he was getting good work. If he knows good work...shouldn't he know....uh...good work. Especially since he's dealt with Passion...? I think everyone on the forum knows I'm NOT a Passion groupie, but I've given him credit before and have said I'm sure he builds a good motor....I've never seen or heard one run in person. Three of the people bashing Denny are singing his praises...saying they didn't know any better is 100% total BS. If they lied because they considered him a friend, that's still lying...any way you slice it. Speedy...here's the thing. I actually partied with Balla for Steve's bachelor party. Had a great time, we BS'd, Chris couldn't make the party... I have no personal problems with him, and hope to see him at the dunes some day (He's from New York) but this is business, not personal....so keep that in mind.
