  1. You have yet to give me a measurement on your needles. Until you're sure they're set right (no...eyeball isn't gonna do it in this case) you also have not told us how far you've turned them out....
  2. Don't worry about that, run 'em.
  3. Yep...Dean Sundahl is the original banshee iron man without a doubt. Sundahl Racing Products used to put out all kinds of top of the line wild off road stuff...
  4. I use the blue on a lot of stuff on mine, especially threading into aluminium. I got lucky and caught half of my intake bolts working their way loose a while back, been using the blue on most stuff ever since. Just put enough on for the first few threads...you'll be fine.
  5. I've had the one from FAST for 3 years now with no problem. And I change my tranny fluid (ATF Type F) after every two days at the track, or after a weekend at the track/dunes. Mine came with a nice copper crush washer, not a fiber.... No issues with mine in two different motors...other than I have to keep remembering to grab a 14mm socket instead of a 17mm wrench...LOL.
  6. I voted for pics. I already know the answer.... Mark...can you help me out....please?

    Playoffs

Any team but the Eagles is right. I really flat out despise chunky soup Donvan.... I'd like to see the Steeler Nation get it all.
  8. First and foremost...what is "your wallet"...could be 20 bucks, could be 2000 bucks....start there.
  9. There are fuel screens in the gas tank for your fuel valve. Empty the tank, remove the fuel valve and make sure the ON and RESERVE screens are clean. Also helps to fuel your bike with a can/jug that has a fine screen, or you can put a screen in a funnel to fill the gas tank. I don't care what kind of filter system you're running, it's gonna get a tad bit of dirt in the engine at one time or another....
  10. JT has run small and big bores on his drag ported FAST 4 mil cub. He prefers the big bore pipes as well...
  11. grpark...when you post a question, it is easier to diagnose when we have details including what'd done to your machine as well as what you've already tried. However, In all my years of wrenching, I've yet to find a single instance where the color of your brake lines, the type of grab bar, what rider bend renthals or a thumb throttle extender has been a critical point in fixing a bike. I think we can all find a very happy and reasonable medium for what we have on our bikes or where we ride, jetting specs, pipes, carb types, ported or not, etc. I agree it is easy to say my mods are in my sig. That helps. Just gotta be reasonable...and considerate for others. I've asked people in the past to cut down their sig picture, etc. And most have been very receptive of that and cool about it, I've even helped resize pictures for a few people. But I've had the rare instance where someone acted like I took their ball and went home.....and they cried like a little girl. I try to avoid that.... If everyone is considerate of their fellow riders on the boards, it's all good....so no worries. I often come off as brash and kind of a dick when I really don't mean to be (there are a few instances where I totally mean to be...lol)
  12. Pretty hard to twist a stock crank, the webs are on splines. Very good possibility of it being separated. Stock cranks are very, very tough and resilient....before you give up on it, pull it out and have it gone over...
  13. Good to see a first hand account. I run Big Bores on my 300ft sand drag 10 mil cub (465cc) It runs very well, too. I do want to try some small bores, but you hit the nail on the head....builders will have their own opinion with their specific porting...
  14. Wacko.....that pic is too big. We limit our sigs to 650X200 max on our site. If it's bigger, you have to scroll through the signature...it actually works out kinda nice.
  15. Matt Shearer will tell you small bore unless you're running a hill. Big Bores were designed for the 535cc cheetahs and up.
  16. On my carbs on methanol, I can go from summer temps to ice riding and barely have to adjust them... The bike should rev clean, especially on gas. Those care are a bit big, but they shouldnt't load up.
  17. Klemet...there are three links I posted above regarding Lectron carbs. Read up!!
  18. They come with clear bowls from Lectron. Measure the intake side ID>
  19. 30 or 300? What size is the carb (lectron). Yes...IMO, they are the best on the market...
  20. Yes...and you like the king of boys...or was that pop, I forgot?
  21. 220 to 225 PSI, advance on the plate and with CDI and only only 106 octane gas...and it's been radar'd at 110 but he guarantees it's 100MPH plus. Yeah ok.......
  22. I am a Commander in Cheif dammit....respect my authoratai..... LOL.
  23. I am having a contest, 05...you are now out of the running for shortening up your signature. I think I'm winning....
  24. I'm 2 for 4 on that. Ratio is 28:1 with supert and m1 meth. Gear oil is ATF Type F. I did forget to mention 180PSI and straight water for coolant. Dammit.....
  25. Aquanet baby... Since I'm bald I have plenty left from the 80's. F the ozone...my grips stick good!!!!
