hey all I have to remove the sterring post bearing and there is a nut on the top has anyone ever made a tool to remove this and what size nut did you use ???? i figured I could just weld a couple together to remove it

LOL I bet your buddy doesnt own that trail you were on !!!!! and the price that I pay to ride my sled on those trails is reason to give you that look when its the sledders who take care of 90% of the trails . and pay over a hundred bucks a year to ride them. They pay for the groomers and signs and everything else. OHHHHH and most important they have permission from the land owners and most of the land owners dont want 4 wheelers on them....... I ride a banshee and just bought a 04 sportsman and ride sleds all winter and own property on lake sabastacook in maine if you want to usethose trails get a sled and pay the regestration fee just like everyone else or tell your buddy to not let the sledders through and you can ride up and down his driveway alone with out the green cats running you over

yes they haave the pattern on the injection system it works with the oil injection and ski-doo/bomb has the pattern for it and is not sharring wiwth the other CO polaris anad artic-cat and with the envirmental laws getting more restrictive the 2 stroke sled is going to be gone soon . All the othter company,s have tried to copy it but, with out success the goverment may be stepping in . Ski-doo has some of the best minds on their payroll thats where polaris go their new reverse system for the new sleds I think its called perc it accullay stops engine for split second and reverses firing sequence to make engine run backwards .!!! pretty cool shit and no extra weight . Polaris bought the rights from ski-doo

Hey all I just blew the top end on my sled and the piston had a hole melted threw the top and I dont want it to happen twice there are only a couple off possability,s to why it happened. The first I have high compression domes that require atleast 92 octane and the other day I was in a bind lost and had to use shitty 87 octane fuel to get home . The second is a gasket leak ether the base or the top or maybe crank seal . I dont want to split the cases so I want to put it together and do a leak down test .I thought I saw it on the sitre somwhere and I cant fid it any help is appreciated

you are mistaken they are anywhere from $180-$220 with the cushins .If you paid $300 you got riped off

Thanks fixitrod it is the bushings I am just going to upgrade I think but , were can I get new bushings for the stock basket and does the basket have to be taped for a bolt to reattch the gear ??? just thought I would pick your brain
