you guys are all kiddding right ???? dont just remove it !!!!!! it is there so you dont overstretch the cable unscrew the nut and loosen the bolt then push the throttle to wide open dont push so hard you are stretching the cable . now turn the bolt in till it just touches the throttle arm inside cover p.s its easier to open cover and see inside and its only 3 bolts . then turn the nut down to lock it in place .

Thats probally a goodd call mcaf on the fuel what compression is your engine ???? I have 205 pnds compression and Dan built my engine 2 . Its a 4 mm 410 cc stroker .I was hoping to be the only guy there with a stroker hehehe I wanted a unfair atvantage in the drags . My bike is ported for to dans race specs .

when running standard domes like the pro design or the noss head use .It is a rule of thumb that anay comprssion over 165 a higher octane is needed at 185 pnds you need tto run race fuel or risk predetonation and engine damage . The other things that determine octane needs are the size and shap of the squish area anda good builder can make changes there that will determine the octane rating needs as well
