  1. I love then personally. Got rears first and rode Saturday and Sunday of every weekend for 5 months or so and id say they still have a good 50% tread and hook up pretty good still. Not to mention i ride a couple miles on the road every other day to keep the motor from getting gummed up. Im on my second set now but there the MX version and all i can say is they hook like a mofo and wear awesome for a race tire.
  2. They do iv seen a few pictures of people with them. honestly i think you can use about any throttle you want. Even knew a couple people with trx450r and 250R thumb throttles on there banshees even herd it was easier on the thumb with them.
  3. Unless the shocks were made for +2 a-arms its gonna be soft. You can always crank the pre-load all the way up and it you have the ability to adjust compression turn it almost all the way up. This is only a quick fix they will need re-valve and sprung. Places like TCS can do the job.
  4. id think if you could tape up the boots and the stud so that there all covered and nothing could leak in i dont see why not. Im no expert by any means nor do i really have an idea what im talking about but from what i remember theres not a great deal of heat involved. I think maybe one hot bath is it?? Im sure someone out there knows the exact process.
  5. I was referring to just the front two i wouldn't doubt the rear is 700ish.
  6. They look nice and i hard some good things but unless you got the 1k i saw they costs there only pretty to look at. =[
  7. but elkas are worth every penny you spend on them. If you can find a shock out there with a body as nice telll me i wanna see. As for valving they may not be the best in the world but unless your good enough to tell it wont matter.
  8. If you can fork out the 1500 for them i can honestly say they they are one of the best shocks money can buy. I only say this from reading and iv yet to hear anything bad. One other thing there only for an LT setup so thats another 1000 =[ if i had that kinda money i would be rolling protrax fox right now but i don't... hahahahaha
  9. Honestly the fenders dont do shit i got just as dirty with them on as off. Secondly it looks way better. Third one less place for mud to build up saying you ride in mud. Fourth less wind resistance honestly that may be a retarded reason but im sure die hard drag racers take it into account.
  10. Not that this has anything to do with anything but those look to be the +2+2 Roll Design a-arms that go for 1k. not 100% sure but they do look like them.
  11. bump someone knows they want this haha. im right there with ya buddy but im way deeper in i presently have 6 cars one being a 1000$ car that sits there doing nothing damn banshee has taken all my money no time for them anymore. =(
  12. Never herd of anyone doing over .35 who knows though. Hopefully someone who knows will chime in bc i sure dont know if its to small or not but i have the feeling you would need race gas for .40
  13. Honestly couldn't say which is better but from the stuff iv read the g-force seems just as good. Its got an awesome warrenty also no questions asked you bend it they replace it. And i can back up RMATV they will bend over backwards for you if anything goes wrong. At least thats my experience with them.
  14. thanks guys and yes i broke one off in a really nasty wreck that fucken my ass up. so i figured id just break the other off haha. Gonna get some cutting disks and clean the whole frame up soon. no sense and having all those useless tabs on there.
  15. Finally got around to doing it probably gonna get bitched at but whatever haha. Also need to smooth out the edges and torch them just to lazy today. Makes me sad the motors still not close to done though. Might not be for awhile i wanna get the frame line-x and a few other things pc'ed.
  16. Iv always taken a new hack saw blade to them. works pretty good for me and after that i take a right angle die grinder with ro-loc disk and smooth it out. Then i hit it with the torch.
  17. jetting, air filter, clean the carbs good, air leak maybe could be one of many problems. Id start by cleaning the carbs good and making sure your air filter is good and clean. Wouldn't hurt to check the reeds for cracks either.
  18. Most people like the AC pro-pegs with the heal guards. Aren't the cheapest thing in the world but ill probably pick a set up myself after i get the motor and suspension done. Anyways heres a link http://acracing.com/itemdetails.cfm?catalogId=49&id=1172 i will say this though look around first im sure you could get the a lot cheaper at another place.
  19. Like he said or you could always suck it up send them out to TCS and have them valved for you weight and style of riding. May cost you 5-600 but its totally worth it imo.
  20. I use a debit card personally put exactly 5gal in and hit the road no issues.
  21. Id say save your money and pick up a used set of front works shocks first. Biggest mistake youll ever make is getting bling before performance.
  22. my guess is -2 but youll have to ask Jeff personally to be sure. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=53
  23. I hate to say it but if your gonna be serious you'll probably want to make the switch. Sure you can get the banshee running with the 450s but itll kill you and your pocket.
  24. you'll have to use something better than water this is oil were talking about. id go get some engine cleaner from auto parts store or something like that it makes oil run like water.
  25. That FAST mx swinger is f'ing amazing looking when i get the money its going on my bike.
