  1. My buddies and I all got our 28mm PWK's as KX100 list carbs from World of Powerspotrs for 170 dollars shipped.
  2. Yep, very likely with 18cc domes.
  3. My buddies let me ride their bikes all the time. I don't know what I'm doing. Every time I get on their 500's I seem to break something. They don't mind because I have enuph respect for them and their equipment to replace everything I mess up with new stuff. I think they either like it because they think it's comical to watch me or they want to change the colors of their fenders.
  4. aren't they lifetime warenteed?
  5. I'm no expert or anything so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I'd say don' t replace anything that isn't showing signs of wear. Look for any rouphness or slop in them and if they have none then don't waste your money on new ones. I run all mine to fail and have had great luck with that.
  6. No problem, I've been there. Glad to hear you are riding again. Next 170 bucks you have laying around, look up KX100 carbs from World of Powersports. You'll love that.
  7. If you ever have a motor that won't shut off when you kill the ignition, Preignition should be your first susspect. The Wiesco's shouldn't make any diff in compression, unless they are for a bigger bore. 180 LBS is a lot for pump gas. I would suggest inspecting your domes and piston tops for damage.
  8. I did a conversion a while back, can't remember who I got it from. Please do a lot of measuring and gusset the shit out of it if you ride hard. I bent mine twice and then ripped it off, ruining a brand new set of shocks in the process before I built my gussets. It's been a great conversion though. Not nearly as many bent a arms as I had J arms.
  9. Forget that, I'll trade my Girlfriend for a Banshee anyday.
  10. Shouldn't need it. Swap plug wires to see if it's fire related. If not, start looking at the carb and reeds on the side not fireing.
  11. You may want to look up World Of Powersports. I got my 28MM PWK's for 170 bones shipped. I have not changed any jetting yet and they made a big difference everywhere so far. I imagine it'll only get better after I can get them tuned.
  12. I have a set of bead blasted nickel plated Gold series Fatty's and turbine core 2 Q silencers I'll trade for.
  13. I was told that my Wiesco crank was no different than a stocker in that respect. With that sayed, I have worn out and blew up three top ends and have had the crank web bearings replaced once all on a non welded crank with race gas domes.
  14. 2 Strokes are made to go fast, not idle. I never have had one that I put any time into making idle more than a few seconds.
  15. I have a set of FMF old school Fatty's kicking around. They have no silencers and are in rouph shape, but they ran damn good on my Banshee. I just got some prettier ones for mine. Make an offer.
  16. Somebody send me a set of those pistons, a 4 mil stroker crank, and a big ass handful of base gaskets and i'll take step by step pictures of how to do it without a spacer plate or cutting the domes.
  17. Whatcha wanna trade for?
  18. Thanks man!
  19. 20 dollars? I wish I could find deals like that. XR80 is a classic. I'd love to have one for my little nephew. A piston kit for that bike is cheap. If you have a four stroke wore out to the point that it has no compression, then it either has a hole in the piston, or has a LOT of miles on it and will most likely need bored anyway. But then again what do I know.
  20. It only cost's 300 bones for a set of Works shocks?
  21. I'm going to wait untill they have 4 ground electrodes to buy mine. Maybee they have a real nice aerodynamic sticker that will make me go a bit faster too.
  22. Don't run it any more. You have got sand in your motor, most likely in all your bearings and between the piston and cylinder. That rattling noise is very bad. The Banshee is by far one of the easyest two stroke wheeler or bike motors to rebuild, so get on with it!
  23. Why do you want to idle anyway?
  24. Would it work to take an old banshee crank end and chuck it up in the lathe where the seal would have went?
  25. Sell them to me and be done with the hassle.
