I had a 2004 CRF250r. I would say that speed is comprable to my banshee, maybe a lil faster (stock banshee.) It was kinda heavy compared to a 125, but the suspension and ergos were great. I was very suprised at how it compared to my neighbors kx125. Absolutely blows it away. I was very happy with the way the honda was designed. Very easy to work on and shit like that

Good luck man! Im in a big ass leg brace still recovering from a knee operation. Im feeling like ill never walk right again, and ive already lost FIVE inches of muscle behind my knee (Upper calf?) Therapy is gonna be a major biznatch, but lucially i got a Bow Flex. Im gonna get (even more ) jacked this summer I would reccomend trying therapy before orthopedic surgery, but then again, were two totally different scenarios.

Freestyler, to answer your question I would get the suspension. I was amazed at how much difference there was between my bros Bottom-of-the-line works, and my stockers. Even if youre not racing, If youve got the balls that aftermarket suspension can make you a faster rider. Youll be hittin stuff at speeds you never woulda thought about. I myself woulda though that was all bullshit and just bought motor shit, UNTILl after I rode my bros quad. Better suspension= faster lap times= winning more races= better than 10% off sponsership deals Of course, all the above depends on whether or not youre the type of rider that would take advantage of the aftermarket suspension's capabilities
