When I was a newer member here at the BHQ, I was thinking of getting a YFZ450. After my dealership gave me a price quote, I sent loco a PM to see what he paid for his YFZ. We both agreed that the dealership gave me a bullshit price, and I asked loco to fax me a recipt so I could use it to get a better price. Sure enough, he did! Had I gone through with purchasing the 450, that recipt would have saved me a ton of money. If some of you think loco is not doing his job here as a mod, he is certainly doing his job in helping members out in one way or another Thanks Loco, I may still use that fax too

F that schnizzle, snowmobiles are expensive, and really the only people who benifit from the snowmobile trails are people who live up north. You are right tho, when theres snow on the ground, NY is awesome for snowmobilers. I just found out my grandparents house is located ON a trail system that reaches into canada. DAMN I guess Im gonna have to check into the used snowmobile market

I would guess that it is because they are... 1) Heavy 2) The hit of the banshees powerband would not be good on the lip of a huge jump 3) Harder than many other quads to manipulate while in the air I am pretty sure #2 is a good reason, because I have seen videos of guys doing freestyle jumps on banshees with 250R engines in them. That would also make the banshee lighter If you are looking to get into freestlye, you could do pretty well on a banshee (I would think) Great shocks arent even necessary if you land the jumps perfect and on the gas.... But who lands everything perfect Hope this helps

They shoulda waited for the 06 to come out. That thing is gonna rip ass From what I've read your banshee should be a torque monster, and them YFZ's are fast. You may be surprised at the outcome of the race

I agree with sand star, but I can almost garuntee that it was a friend of a friend. You should go "interrogate " some of your more "shady" friends. This happend to a neighbor of mine. One of his buddies friends stole my neighbors shee, and my neighbors friend got it back. I went on the zip-line tour on the predator site. I WOULD NOT reccomend it. Its 85% walking up steep ass slopes, and it isnt very scenic. The bugs in the rain forest are horrible, theres donkey shit on the trail.... it was horrible

The atv tour wasnt more than 80 bucks per person. It was at least 3 1/2 hours long, not including the lunch break, and visit to the tequila factory. We rode the piss outta honda 300 utility quads. They were semi auto clutch and plenty fast for the trails we were doing. Helmets and sunglasses were provided. There were lots of cool deep river crossings and stuff like that. I would definately reccoment it Oh, BTW everyone is very chill down there, our tour guide was goin on the sidewalks and racing other quads. ATV's are street legal there, hell even the cops ride 90cc quads. I believe it was in the state(?) of jalisco. Have a good time We went down in february. It was hot, but not bad at all. Not humid or anything like that

Mexico is the shit! I went to puerta vallerta (pacific coast), and had a blast! Im 15, and theyre very laid back about the drinking age and shit like that, not that i drank or anything .... But, as a kid in mexico i did notice that whenever my parents were not around, they tried to sell me bongs, cigars, weed, and other shit like that. Some parts of mexic are VERY shady, so watch out. I went on a quad tour that was sick as hell , but at some parts you would be driving throught horrible ghettos with dead dogs laying everywhere. I would highly reccomend the atv tours if you can deal with ghettos and poverty, which, BTW our ghettos look like beautiful communities compared to theirs. Did i mention there was a tequila tour with sampling halfway into the tour? Then we rode on the highway back into the city. SIck trip Back on topic, while I was there their was about 3 clubs within walking distance, all of which had hott girls like you see on MTV. There were also foam parties and cool stuff like that

I was riding a banshee since I was 14. I am now 15, and am saving up for a 450r (I trail ride) I wouldnt be selling my shee if my bro didnt have a totally modded one I could use anyday Theyre very fun quads, and like 04teamyamahashee stated, It will go up any hill you've got the balls to try!

I herd about certain dealerships tellin guys who they sold bikes to, and then the guy go and steal the bike back for the dealership. If your dealership seems shady, you should look into that. I hope you get your bike back

No loco, it didnt run at all when I brought it to him, we figured out that he spliced the wires wierd, and the left side wasnt getting spark. It was wierd, and its hard to explain, but she runs now. I will be removing the key soon also

Hey guys, I just got my shee back today and it ran like shit. Took it back to the mechanics house (extremely competant/knoledgable guy) and he said that it seems like the quad is running on1 cylinder. The right cylinder to be specific. Anyway, this guy installed a pro design killswitch for me, and the key still works. I was wondering, since all websites say "In order for kill switch to function on banshee, key switch must be disconnected " Could he have wired it wrong, where the key still works (turns engine off) but only one cylinder is firing? I would appreciatel any and all informative replies. Thanks all, -Brian

Im assuming you havent had the flywheel taken off, since you said you havent changed the stator. After I had my flywheel lightend I didnt put it back on tight enough. It would run in neutral, but when in gear it would die. It also got progressively worse. I only mention this because I was having symptoms identical to what you described.
