  1. WOW!!! what a hilarious post. Now you can't get entertainment better than this unless it's PPV and cost 40 dollars. Brooke should be the BHQ political spokesperson. Her PR is outstanding and to the point.. I won't post my views since they've been spoken. Brooke you may proceed.
  2. I've used Pro-X and Wiseco. I've had better luck with pro-x over the years but doesn't mean Wiseco is a bad piston. For higher horspower/compression motors that can be hard to tune and prone to detonation definitly Wiseco. Cast pistons will provide a better seal and less friction with less bore wear. In motors that can run cast, this is a better benefit. So when someone says that a forged pistons is a better piston than a cast, they really need to read this article. Cast V/S Forged Pistons
  3. That is not correct. The MON of av and pump gas is tested the same, but the av gas still goes through a converting process which will result in a tad smaller octane (very minimal). The RON of AVgas and pump gas is tested altogether different and the numbers between the 2 aren't even close.
  4. Yea check out alloyboltz.com. They carry every bolt for the banshee except the upper a-arm bolts. Alloyboltz
  5. Yea everyone was wondering if Rogan was watching the same fight as everybody else. Randy also announced his retirement. I guees that's a given.
  6. I just walked in the door. Went to LS for a few hours today. Damn banshee was running lean, I guess with this dry weather and cooler temps what ya expect. Had fun though and man the sand was as smooth as glass.
  7. Happy Birthday!!! 27? yep your old.
  8. Mentioning cars, this was interesting. Aviation gas is formulated for large-bore, long-stroke, low rpm engines which run at high altitude. While AvGas
  9. Clear coat will prevent the rust, for how long? It also kills the true shine.
  10. Should still be right on the money. I doubt it would need much if any change.
  11. Thanks, but you forgot ass behind smart. Like old two smoke said, a lot of differences between av and pump gas. But one problems is when people use AV gas istead of race gas, when they assume it has the same octane or higher based on the octane numbers. Hopefully people that use AVgas know this, I dunno. . Most people run into problems with low octane on av gas since it is tested and rated for a different type of engine than a motor gasoline engine. A standard 110 octane race gas will score a 160 or better on the AV gas octane scale. Big difference so be careful to not subsitute AV gas for these high compression gasoline engines. It's a good substitute "generally" for pump gas. It definitly has better stability and a little higher octane than can be found at the pump.
  12. I don't think those cases are ported either. I guess it doesn't matter now.
  13. Modquad has them I believe. Don't know if they sponsor us anymore or not. Haven't seen their banner in a while.
  14. Adds an inch of travel. I think he's in central time zone.
  15. Race gas (unoxygenated) does not add performance, the engine does. By using the proper octane for your compression, your motor can produce more power without detonation. The two numbers for your av gas are your motor octane number (MON) and your research octane number (RON). These are based on the lower and upper levels of engine operation. Your octane number is based on a combination of the two (R+M/2). Your race fuels also have a lot less additives and impurities than pump gas.
  16. Nope!
  17. I'd take a single 35mm pwk over dual stock carbs any day.
  18. There were 5 Trinity Banshee's in the top 6 positions with a new record set by John Stalworth of Nmotion for 2005 on a Trinity built 7mil cheetah cub. They've dominated the hill for several years now. Something to ponder since all Cheetah cylinders come from Trinity. Does Trinity port any of these cheetah's they sell to these other "big name" builders?
  19. So do you recommend this for these BHQ riders? I don't think I would post something that defies all octane vs compression rules. You have some misinformation somewhere, I guarantee it.
  20. Are you by chance using the same jets from one carb to the others?
  21. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...ak+down+testing
  22. Yep, gotta be careful where you ride. Some people want to keep you away from their marijuana crops.
