  1. Are you the one selling this? Not a bad price, though I think the frame could use a fresh plating. Definitly a good project starter!!!
  2. 5/8 to around 3/4 should be right on. Of course not all the hose connections or the same size so some ends go on easy and others are tight.
  3. WOW, now that was funny!!!!
  4. Honestly Travis, after looking at your set-up, a shock is going to need some major work to have the strength. I would either call Shane on here to see if it's possible or call Marvin Shaw. Still have your old linkage and will it bolt up to what you have now? If so then I would rework the stock unit.
  5. Really depends on where your setting at compression wise when you make the advance. Generally no, you will gain throughout.
  6. Are we talking gears or baskets? I would go straight cut on the gears.
  7. I don't think you will make it till next winter. I would get new pistons in there asap unless you at like 10,000 feet.
  8. No more open caskets. Need a sifter to gather a persons remains. lol
  9. Actually you need to go to a Honda dealership cause Yamaha deals only with Mikuni carbs.
  10. May need to richen your pilot jet to compemsate for the cold weather.
  11. Yea FMF sold the monoblock cylinder, last year I remember was 2001. They may have been t-rex cylinders. Unless I could get them really cheap I'd pass on them. The cubs are 875 new. Also I think they came in 400cc with using stock crank.
  12. 56.4 to 55.9, that could happen without any changes. Maybe you slung all the oil off your chain in the 1st run. lol
  13. Currently running 160 main and 55 pilot CEL needle mid clip.
  14. I didn't know that. Wonder why the manufacurers all sell light kits for them? Most of them have the lenses in place, just no bulbs. Those can be added for a few extra dollars.
  15. A salvaged title will affect the price but by how much I don't know. A slavage title will affect some people's paying price and others it won't affect that much. It realy boils down to how much someone is willing to give and what they want to do with the vehicle. Just look over it real close, check the front fork seals for leaks, any frame damage, controls in working order etc.. The speedo may not reflect it's true mileage because it may have been replaced with a new or used unit. A salvage title tells you that it has been damaged to a certain % of the vehicle's pre-wreck value. I think this differes from state to state. If it is rebuilt you can apply for a new title to where it can be driven on the road. Certain inspections and fee's apply here. Though the new title will always reflect that it was once a salvage vehicle. I'd say check your state laws on the issue and go from there.
  16. You need to also try Magic Mix metal polish. I use the Mother's Billet, only when I run out of the "majic". You will use less of it, it costs less and it comes in a bigger bottle. This stuff also adds a protective coating so your aluminum will luster longer and oxidize less. Amazing stuff!!! Here's a link. LINK
  17. How many miles on it? I don't understand the salvage because it's a track bike. Generally people will take a wrecked bike with a salvaged title and make it a track bike. I have a 2000 model and was recently offered 5800 for it, it's mint though. So really depends how good a condition it is and really how much your willing to pay for it. Just guessing I'd say around 4500 to 5000.
  18. Probably a good thing, looks like I may be going back to school here soon anyway.
  19. I didn't get it. Was waiting for him to get the title on his end before I sent him the money then a few days later he informed me he had received a better offer and sold it.
  20. Well the only thing left is a cylinder problem. Maybe your base gasket or an old piece maybe clogging or covering up a transfer, or something along those lines. Maybe you lost part of a piston skirt and it's lodged somewhere? Are they ported? Maybe someone didn't exact the same port job on both sides. Another thing, make sure a mouse didn't take up residence in the exhaust during the rebuild.
  21. That's a good one, I got to send that to a few people.
  22. Got mine from Cascade for 89 dollars.
  23. Check your resistance across the coil or like others said switch wires. Make sure gas is flowing well to left carb, no kinked or clogged lines. Make sure the TORS brain is completely unhooked and gone!!
  24. E-ton 40 with the remote kill switch. Pad him up real good and keep your finger on the button.
