  1. Man, you're stationed in Italy, how do ya like that and how long ya gonna be there? How do you ship your stuff back (ie. your shee)to the states, military transport or private shipper?
  2. What is the price difference between the two set-ups, and I mean ballpark..............?
  3. I agree with warwgn on that one, but the best places are Sand Mountain NV, and Dumont.
  4. At $3.17 a gallon, it cost me $117.00 to fill my truck............... ::
  5. Ok, well we all know your screen names, but what is your real name................ Tim
  6. It's no different than say wheels on you truck. If you run aluminum spun wheels then you will need to just keep up on them when it is necessary. If things start looking dull then repolish them with aluminum polish. I read all over the place on here that you could run the stock shock up to a +4, and if you went to a +6 then you needed to revalve and or re-spring the shock. Because if what you are saying is true then that throws another monkey wrench into my +4 or +6 swinger, cub motored shee (hell-of-a-description ha). I also heard that you can't jump with a +6 or you'll tear it up or break it. Don't mean to contradict, but what up with that.............?
  7. You may also start out with paint remover/stripper to save a little sanding and those hard to reach corners.
  8. Yes, it needs to go between the water pump and the radiator, that way you know what the coolant in the motor is doing....................
  9. Motosport has good deals, but are the cranks re-welded? You don't want to take the chance and have it break, then its really going to get expensive. So the money you save now will just be spent later...............
  10. Ya it would help if we had a screen name, I only know a few people by their real names...........
  11. Well it depends on how fast you want to run on the dunes. If you can afford it I'd keep them both, because the YFZ is no slouch for a 4-poke for dune carvin' and bowl bouncin', then race the Shee...............
  12. Ya, things are a little slower over here by the Pacific.................... :yelrotflmao:
  13. Ya, I kinda get that impression when I visit that site too. The info is pretty good sometimes, and once in a while something new will show up there and a day or so later I see a thread pop up here for it.............
  14. Right on the money. I don't know how tall or how large they are, but a lot of members go there and say its a great place to ride and worth the drive. How does it compare to Glamis, Dumont or Sand Mountain NV?
  15. It only cost you $67 to fill your tank, HOLY $HIT. I would love to get back down that low. The last six times that I filled my trucks up I was at around $109-$117 per fill-up. The only way I could get that price is if I filled up when I was at half a tank................... :yelrotflmao:
  16. America does have talent.................
  17. One other thing I see as being a problem is that when you get on it in a corner the ass end will squat on the outside corner. Which may even put the bike up on one wheel if you have any kind of power at all. I see rails do that all the time, but because they are bigger than a quad it doesn't affect them as much........... just a thought
  18. More like you can take the bank to your bike, cause it'll take the whole account, and probably grandma's inheritance money............ :yelrotflmao:
  19. Sounds like a really good idea, now there has to be a business plan before you go to Yamaha. But if 99.99% of the bike can be made with aftermarket parts then just come up with a different name for the quad. Change to a different style of plastics and there is nothing Yami can do about it....................
  20. I agree with Loco, you should have it done by someone who does it. A local machine shop can probably do it, but the guys that do it all the time already know that they may need to take a little more material off this part of the case or that part. Take your chances, but how much is it going to cost you if it's not done right......................
  21. I thought I read somewhere that NOSS machines also dose the flywheel turning. Try PM-ing dlnoss and see if that is true or not...............
  22. They both perform really well, but the two's are held in by screws and the three's are snap in's. Plus they are phasing out the two's, but will still be making the reeds for the two's but for how long................. If it's a smokin' deal get them and when you start having problems or availability issue's change them.
  23. The alky will burn cooler and will allow a higher compression. With a 7mil on alky, that thing will run like a raped ape. I hope you are not a beginner quad rider.................. Oh, yeh, ya might wanna make sure you medical insurance is paid up :yelrotflmao:
  24. Thats better thanks Lee.................... Whats wrong with dial up? Where I live everything is long distance, so I can't get anything but dial-up. So with unlimited long distance its better than nothin', because Directway costs a fortune to have....................
  25. Thats a cool lookin' car, wonder what the price will be.................
