  1. I need to find someone that specializes in tri-z or atleast is good with them and can work on them.
  2. I am taking apart my 250r bottom end and I have a harmonic balancer puller and I have already taken off the flywheel and ignition coil but now I have to use the harmonic balancer puller to split the cases. I have never done this so how do I use this tool.
  3. I need a set of stock rear hubs to fit on my tecate 4 so I can run a 8 or 9 inch rim. Also if anyone has maxxis 4 snows then let me know.
  4. My buddy wants to run alcohol on his tri-z but he wants to run his stock head. Can he do this. Also where is a good place to get carbs converted to alcohol.

  7. I cant find pro wedge 2 and I was wondering where to get a set from that will fit a 10 inch rim. Which is better between the three tires.
  8. I know that this is a banshee forum but I figured since you guys are so noligable you should be able to give some tips in drag racing my 87 Tecate 4. I am about to put a SR 330R kit on my tecate. With just the cylinder it should give me 60 rwhp with my ftz drag pipe. But I am going ahead and getting drag porting and having the piston cut to match the transfer ports. I have my tecate lowered low in the front and I am getting a kit to lower the rear 6 inches. I am a good rider although I have never ridden anything with more than 50 hp at the rear wheel. So I just would like some advice on how to drag race such as like how to get a good start and how to set up the swingarm. For instance I have a stock swingarm but am getting a +4 swingarm for it. I know that the shorter the swinger the more it will hook up but it will pop up easier too. So just need I guess tips from pros for my rookie self.
  9. What should a 420 long rod with trinity head and trinity drag pipes be running in the 1/8.
  10. I would like to know what kind of time that a ported banshee with rocket pipes reeds and a head with lightened flywheel and advanced timing do in 300 ft on the dirt and on the road.
  11. I am mostly trail ride my banshee but the guys around here are starting to drag race 300 fit on dirt and on the road. I have 15/41 gearing right now but what gearing would be good for 300ft.
  12. When its a perfect day in july they cant catch me. I would have never stopped. Next time just keep riding and if he chases you then just take off. Make sure that you dont let him follow you to your house though. I made that mistake once with my blaster. I ran from the chief of police and he called backup and by the time I got home I had beat him and his backup but my neighbor works for the rescue squad so she has a scanner and she heard that they were chasing a white 4 wheeler on the road and when she saw me put my stuff in the barn she called the cops. I thought I had them beat so I went driving around and about 45 min later I come by my house and their is 7 cop cars at my house and I'm not exagerating. They had a warrent for my arrest. I went to the police station but he just lectured me and never gave me a ticket and never took my bike though just a warning. I was like 17 at the time.
  13. I have a 03 banshee, 87 tecate 4, 86 250r and 02 cr 125. I was just about to start fixing my banshee to fly but my tecate man Corey Sprock conviced me to go ahaid and drag my tecate 4. I still am going to fix my banshee up but I really didn't want to drag it any way since it was a new bike. I am in no way dissin the banshee either, so don't get yalls panties twisted. I have an ftz drag pipe on my tecate now and it has a stock 250 bore but with the cylinders ported. I have a custom made 14" long k&N air filter and a 39 keihin carb. With my mods I think I can take my banshee but I have never raced them against each other although I am and will post the outcome. I am about to send the engine back to Corey though so I can get big time and go for my 330 long rod kit. He said that with my ftz pipe and the 330 kit I should be make around 60-65 horse power on pump gas. Has anyone ever raced against a good running tecate 3 or 4. Ill post some pics of my tecate as soon as I can.
  14. What would win between a ported tri-z with pipes and gear work vs a banshee thats ported and piped with gear work. When I say gear work I mean the sprockets. Both being on stock cylinders

  16. I have a 03 banshee with fmf sst's, k&n filter with snorkel removed and 2 inches cut off the back of the airbox lid. I also have tors removal kit. I have a -1 lonestar swinger too along with 15/41 gearing. I really like how my shee performs now but I have grew past this stage and need to step it up. I want to get a noss head with 20 cc domes. Can I run pump gas with that, I am at sea level. I also am going to get vforce reeds, advance the timing, get my shiftstar modded, and lighten my flywheel. How much faster should I be shooting out their with this addidtional mods, and about how much rear wheel horses should I be pumping out.
  17. I have a 03 banshee with fmf sst's, k&n filter with the snorkel removed and the back 2 inches cut off of the lid. I have 190 mains with 30 pilots and the needle is in the middle position. I noticed that it is started to bog down at 1/4 throttle and it feels almost like it is cutting off. This means that it is to lean right? Should I go move the needle down on the clip so it is 2 from the top? What about my mains?
  18. I have of course my banshee and my 87 tecate 4 and a 86 trx 250r and two days ago I bought a 2002 cr 125 for 1500. I raced it against my banshee today on the dirt, grass and the road and the banshee would pretty much stomp it. This is my first dirtbike but I really picked up how to ride in about 1 day. I can come out the hole like a wild man now. But I want to be faster. Everything is stock on the bike except it has an aftermarket piston kit but at the stock bore and it has delta v-force reed cage and reeds. If I put a pipe on it and maybe shave the head or get a performance head and change the gearing would it be like a totally new bike or what. It seems to wind out so quick so I figured that if I had a pipe then I would be able to drop atleast two teeth on the back sprocket or maybe add one up front. What would be good?
  19. My friend needs to have his head fly cut or milled and squished and he wants to deck the cylinder too. If anyone knows someone up here that does this for a resonable price please let me know.
  20. Where can I get a .010 thin head gasket for banshee at. What about a thick base gasket? Will it change the port timing and make it better or what?
  21. If I had a cr250 that was stroked and on alcohol how bad would a all out drag banshee beat it in the 1/8
  22. I have a 03 banshee with fmf sst's, tors removal, k&n with lid cut, lonestar -1" swingarm, and 15/41 gearing. My tires are stock. I raced a 97 rm250 that my friend had, and it had procircuit pipes with k&n filter and the motor was bored a little over. We raced about a 1/4 mile on dirt and grass. I raced it before I had anything on my bike and it stomped me. After I installed everything listed above it was a tight race. I would beat him out the hole because they spin so bad. But he would catch up to me. But with my gearing it pulled very good and I would alway win by like half a bike length. My advice would first get k&n filter, cut the back 2 inches off the lid, get some v-force reeds or just some boyeseen pro series for about 70$ and maybe advace the timing +4 degrees. Oh yeah, try a .010 head gasket. That should help bottom end too. And change your gearing to 15/41. It will still be a close race but you should get him if you learn how to come out the hole in 2nd or 3rd gear good. Holeshot is everything. If he gets in front its probrably over.
