  1. Yeah I do have my clymers but I think its one of those days where I coudn't spell my own name. I think we all had those days. Ill get it by tonight but I just wanted to get it done today before I go to work so I could send it off.
  2. Ok I must be brain dead because I still cant get it. Are you talking about the lever or (shift drum stopper) that is under the shift star. I just don't understand how it comes off. I don't want to pull to hard on anything because Im scared to break it.
  3. After I took that out I still was unable to take it off. Does it slide off. I tried pulling on it but the shaft to the transmission was moving with it. Is it threaded on the transmision shaft. If so then is it lefty loosy right tighty. Do I need to take something else off in order to get it off.
  4. Yeah but if I do that then I want be able to get to the phillips head bolts. Do I take the one in the center of the shift star off or the ones to the right off.
  5. I got the cluthbasket off and the primary gear. Now I pulled out the shift shaft enough to get to the shift star. Do I have to take anything else off in order to get the shift star off. I tried loosening the phillips head bolt that holds it but it turns so I tried using a vice grip to hold it but I still cant loosen it. Any suggestions.
  6. While my shee is down I am working on stripping all the non esential stuff off of it. I just took off my tors box that was already disconnected. I also just took off my rear taillight. Can the black box by the rear taillight come off to. Also their is I guess the sensor for the tail light by the rear brake pedal that I think can come off. My parking brake is already off. What about any other non essential wires or boxes that I can take off but still be able to run my lights?
  7. Look at 5 oclock and that insulator. You can see where their is a small indention into the insulation. Do you think I will be alright
  8. I think I may have screwed up the stator. I was trying to take off the flywheel nut and I didn't have anything to hold it from spinng so I took my phillips head screwdriver and put it in one of the flywheel holes so that it would go all the way through. I got the nut off after I used some common sence and got a belt to hold the flywheel. Anyways now the stator in one spot has an indention from where the screwdriver was rubbing against one of the things(whatever you call them). It also flaked a little off. The indention is not to big and it is only in one spot but I don't know if it will affect the spark. Am I in trouble.
  9. I actually got a set of maxxis 4 snows for my tecate but I tried them on my banshee first and all I have on my banshee is sst's with k&n filter and appropriate jetting with 15/41 gearing. I pulled those ok although I know with more power it would have pulled them better especially through the higher gears but they hooked unreal.
  10. Would a cut set not be good for trail riding. Could you explain why and how to cut them as well as why cutting tread off actually makes them hook more.
  11. I was wondering how cutting tread off of tires can help it hook better. Could someone please explain to me how. I know that locogato and others talk about kenda knarly's with every other row cut out of them and how well they bite. Just would like to know how? Also what do you guys use to cut them with.
  12. I have stock tires now and I ride mostly trails but I occasionally pull out the shee to spank someone with. The only problem now is that my tires are wearing down and I need some good aftermarket tires. Ive been looking at getting maxxis razor1 or 2 or some kenda dominators or knarly's. I know that locogato likes his that he cut the tread off of. Just need better bite.
  13. I have 03 with fmf ssts with k&n filter, tors kit, -1 swingarm, 15/41 gearing. I want more power but I don't want to get it ported yet. I'm leaning towards getting my flywheel lightened, timing plate +4 deg, shiftstar mod. Will this give me enough noticable power before I put some money in porting.
  14. What kind of times can you guys run with that 12 port stroker kit in 1/8 mile and 300 ft.
  15. I hear pt mids are a good trail pipe. I know that banchetta really likes his. As long as I get a pipe that is better than my sst's and look good I don't care. I know that is vaig but when I put on my new set of pipes which ever ones they may be I want to be able to tell a difference.

  18. I have ssts on my banshee now and I have a k&n filter with tors removal kit and thats it. I run good now and I like the power but I raced a guy that had some toomey pipes and they sounded awesome. I mostly trail ride but I do race everynow and again on my little farm strip. I havn't lost yet but I havn't raced anything really fast either. I want a pipe with better overall power and look. I hate the way the silencers look on fmfs. I love the way the rocket and toomey silencers look. Give me some help.
  19. I have a 91 suzuki 250 quadracer and I have a 39 keign carb I want to put on it. The rubber boot to the reed cage and carb is not big enough for the carb though. Do they make bigger ones or do I need to use a rm250 intake boot or what?
  20. I figure that with the way the cheetah cylinders have their ports set up different and the way the cylinders are made their is atleast a 25-30% increase in horse power to gain with whatever kit compared to oem cylinders.
  21. I have a 2 tecate's and I know that cheetah makes cylinders for the banshee as well as for the 250r which are called sabertooth. I would like to get them to make some cylinders for a tecate 4. I am willing to put 10,000 in it myself and I know their is a few more people that would put down that much as well to have them make some, so if anyone that can help me get info let me know.
  22. How would a 610 cheetah motor work for drag racing 1/8 of mile. What time would I run with stock frame but stretched.

He is the guy in the white fullbore plastic. I am about to start dragin in sand and would like to know what setup he has or what setup I would need to run as fast as renee

I have been trying to figure out what renee has as far as engine size and what frame and suspension setup he has. About how much would a similiar setup cost? I appreciate it. The reason why I ask is because I am about to start drag racing myself and my goal is to be atleast as fast as renee.
  25. I just bought a blaster and it has 71.95mm on the top of the piston so what is this bored to. I need to buy some rings and I dont know what size rings to buy. Please help me.
