Check my sig out. I have 15/41 gearing now and I want to get a tire that will hook a lot better than my stock tires but still give good acceleration and top speed. I like how my bike pulls now with the gearing so I don't want to fumble with it to much however I have been looking at the mxr4 holeshot tires size 19x10x9. With my gearing and mods will this suit me for trail riding. I ride in mostly hard pack and grassy arears. I still want goot top speed though. Also will this size fit stock rear hub bolt pattern.

I bought some brand new v-force reeds last night on ebay for 175 shipping included. When I saw the price I thought that it was a mistake. Any ways I plan on installing them next week. How much should I go up on main jets do you think. I have 290 right now but thats just a tad rich.

I live in north carolina. Do any of you guys know anyone or anyplace that might be able to build a custom drag frame.

Or maybe 15/42 or 15/43. What do you guys think

I have 15/41 gearing now. I put this on when I installed my pipes. I like how it pulls but I want just a litte more hit. I also have a set of 4 snows that I like to use when I have to race so the 15/41 is a little tall for them. I was thinking of going back to 14/41 or 14/40. Would their be much difference in 15/41 and 14/40

I want to get my head milled to the equivalent of 21cc domes. My buddy wants to send his off two.

Have you ever raced yours. If so what kind of times do you run in 300' dirt or 1/8 mile asphalt

I ride mostly trails but like to keep a few tricks up my sleeve when people do call me out to race. I know that I have hear of people cutting off tabs on their banshee. What tabs could I possibly cut off or anything else take off that would really help me save some weight. I still want a good stirdy frame of course though.

I just got my banshee right and still crave more power I know that a milled head or accesory head will make a difference but how much? I need to know also what octane I will have to run with my milled head and advanced timing. I am at sea level and have +4 timing however I might change it to less or more. What dome size could I run and still run pump gas and would it even be worth my while If I run pump gas.

Fmf SST's, 15/41 gearing, tors removal, k&N filter with airbox lid cut, -1 lonestar swingarm, lightened flywheel, shift star mod, and +4 timing. The extra tooth up front is the only thing I think would make the rpms drop some. With the 10w30 It didn't drop any.

Ive been thinking about getting eric gorr woods port but I know that I might want to go bigger in the future. The kit I might want to get would be the passion racing 12 port. If I got the woods port would I still be able to get the 12 port without getting new cylinders.

I didn't have a problem in the lower gears but when I started getting up in 4 and up then you could feel it bog down. At first I though my jetting was off but I knew that my jetting was right. So I changed the oil and it didn't bog anymore. I have 15/41 gearing to so that might have something to do with it bogging in the upper gears.

I put a post up here the other day where I thought my clutch was slipping and it was. I fixed it today by adjusting my clutch adjustment screw. My problem was I had it to tight. The clutch lever was really tight and when I turned the screw I could see the clutch loosen up a bit. I found another problem that I fixed. When I put my new flywheel and shiftstar and timing plate on I switched from 10w 30 oil and went to mtl 75 wt oil. My bike was boging down in the upper gears and today I went back to 10w30 and it ran strong. Its amazing how much difference oil weight can make.

Yeah it was working fine. I have a feeling that it is the clutch adjustment screw that sticks out of the pressure plate. I mest up the first time when I put it all back together and I had no pressure when you pull the clutch. So I had to go back and loosen the screw and I was able to get pressure but I thing I went from one extreme to the other. Now I think its to loose.

My bike is a 03 so I bought it brand new about 2 years ago last month.

I dont have the calipers to measure the thickness of the friction plates. Is their any other way of telling if they are shot. Also if I do have to get new clutch plates which is the best to get.

Alright. My banshee is riding really strange. When your on the gas its fine but when you shift it doesn't feel right at all. When I shift it and give it gas it doesn't jerk like it used to. On the road it still doest jerk thats why I know something is wrong. It feels like the wheels are spinning on the road but Im going no where. Last week I installed the shift star mod and I know that I put the clutches in the right way. However I tried to torque them but I didn't want to break them off either so the springs could possibly be to loose. Or the clutch rod that you screw to adjust may be off. I don't know. Please give help please.

I was wondering how you can tell when the clutch is slipping or needs to be replaced?

I have a 03 banshee with fmf ssts, stock carbs with tors removed, -1 lonestar swingarm, lightened flywheel, +4 timing, shift star mod and 15/41 gearing. I like how my banshee rides don't get me wrong, its fast but I feel like I need to step up my game a little. Will a trinity 2into 1 kit with the 35 carb do me anygood. I will be getting v force reed cages soon too. If I got Eric gorr woods port in the future would the one carb hurt me and if so will a 39 keihen work good.

Yes buy it. Just check to make sure the frame and everything is in good shape. I have bought three tecates within the last 4 months and they are great bikes. I paid 400 for mine and it had been in the back of a field for 10 years just rusting away. Dont worry about parts or engine parts or anything. I can get you whatever you want. I have the hook up on tecates. I am about to start drag racing mine so if you will just do a search under my name and look for my posts with my tecates on it. Just contact me if you are serious about getting it and I will be glad to help you out.

I have been looking at the razer 1 and the razer 2. Which is better? I ride mostly around loose dirt and some hardpacked dirt with grass. I want a tire that really hooks good though. I got 15 tooth sprocket up front so I don't think I need to get anything bigger than 20" tires but Im not sure. Will 19 or 20 be good and is the wider the tire the better or not. I want a little better holeshot when racing with my friends.

I just got my mods installed last night and today I went for a long ride. Man what a difference they all made. I have to give credit to BOONMAN for the excellent work he did on the flywheel and shiftstar. It shifts so much more smoother and easier now and I can find nuetral. Also the way the engine runs now and revs is incredible with the lightened flywheel. The plus 4 timing helped also. I figure that it gave me a few more bikes when racing.

I just installed my shift star and I put the clutch basket and everything on. Now i have no clutch pressure. I think that I need to go back and adjust the clutch rod screw? Do i turn it in or out to get more clutch pressure.

On the banshee thier is a wire right next to the clutch. My buddys bike is the one with this problem. Is this for the parking brake or what. Will it effect anything.

I got it. I just had to stop being such a pussy and pop it off of the shaft. That was simple enough. Thanks guys.
