  1. only one side?
  2. You asked him what the tors looked like? If your pulling apart that top end you better be getting that top end redone FULLY, before you bolt her back up. Thats just the right thing to do... if you want to half ass it just pull it off and put the gasket on... You'll have to do a comp test after its put back together.
  3. You will have to do both sides man. EDIT: Wait, the guy you bought it from only put one new piston in it???
  4. I believe you want the squish in between .040 and .055
  5. Whats your squish? timing? 21 cc doesn't sound like race gas to me...
  6. I've never heard of changing jetting, but, they stopped selling AvGas here in AZ to people without planes. Guess too many people were making explosives out of it, easier to ignite I'd suspect being that it's oxygenated.
  7. interesting...
  8. lol, Shayne, get over your stock ignitions already....
  9. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/banshee-DRA...sQ5fAccessories What a killer deal...
  10. If the thing has a title then it was an ok buy, for a 2003 in that shape it looks like the guy didnt care much about it. But never fear, I bought my '96 in the exact same condition about 7 years ago for $1500!But I could honestly say, the only parts that are from a '96 are the cases, shifting mechanisms, and the rear dog bone lol.
  11. Hard to start, no power, engine is froze, etc. It depends on whats part gave way or wore out before another.. You a member over at bluetraxx by chance?
  12. He aint shittin Welcome man!
  13. Comes with the motor aswell????
  14. If you don't need kevlar/extremes: http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=119533
  15. Stick with a stock stator if you can, if your going aftermarket don't get anything Ricky Stator, RM stator, and a few more out there that are the same company with a diff. name. If you go 200w you can upgrade the mr16 bulbs in the Trail Techs with larger ones, and you'll definitely tell the diff. between those 35s.
  16. You will have to get the cylinders matched to the stroke, or your not gaining anything by adding it. Id recommend talking to a reputable builder if your doing anything past a stock crank.
  17. Whats kind of compression does that motor have?

  19. Not for a 4 mil.
  20. Well, finger compression tests aside - you cant test a base gasket by "feeling" air move. You need to invest in a Leakdown Tester. If you cannot afford one you could maybe wrap a grocery bag around the whole engine, to see if the bag inflates, use panty hose to secure the bag tightly.
  21. Damn thats baller... I want one
