well i talked to my grandfather today, and he has a guy that he does taxes for that builds wood cabinets and usually starts his guys off at $10 an hour, which is $2 more an hour than im making up here, so i may be moving before the end of the year...
-
dont know, i know there arent a lot of good paying jobs there, but i can try... my grandfather has so many friends there, he does taxes down there and knows a bunch of people that would be willing to hire me... and after i become a citizen down there, i think im gonna go to school to become an HVAC technician, and then again after a little while, go back again to become an electrician so i can make even more money because i can install stuff all at once... im 99% sure im moving at the end of the summer...

well to be honest right now i like my mom better, my dad drank before the divorce (my mom claims thats why the divorce happened) and now he drinks even more, in fact he is drinking right now, he is a good guy, just has a big problem... ive been to myrtle beach at least once a year every year since i was 6, sometimes multiple times, and i love it there, but its a big difference living there and visting for a week... and your right, massachusetts does suck...
-
ok, my mom and dad divorced about 2 years ago, and my mom lived up here (in massachusetts) for just under a year, on her own. i stayed with my dad, and my mom was hurt. she moved down to myrtle beach in january, and ever since has been begging me to move. my grandparents and 2 aunts live down there, and now my mom, so i have family there already. i am thinking of just renting a 6x12 trailer from uhaul, putting my banshee in there with all my shit, and just leaving. up here it seems like im standing still, i work at a ford dealership reconditioning cars, i make around $300 a week, and im 18. to me that doesnt seem like good money, and up here i cant concentrate and think of what i wanna do with my life yet. all my friends and peopel my age are all going to college and have good paying jobs. if i move down there it seems like its a fresh start, leave any troubles up here, move down there, find a better job, make some better friends, find some better riding (if there is). my grandfather down there does taxes, so he knows almost everybody down there, and he said he could have a good job for me the day i move down there i could start. im just looking for opinions and a little re-assurance. everybody up here thinks its a joke because im sort of a pushover, so they dont think i have the balls to move. also, if anybody on here lives in that area, is there a lot of riding down there? thanks in advance, and sorry for the long story... Finally a website to make fun of these tools
jeepman137 replied to Wallrat's topic in General Banshee Discussion
i dont like how they make it look like people with lifted trucks are like that... i dont think i have EVER seen a person wearing that type of hat driving a lifted anything, only escalades and 1992 honda civics with ricer rims... -
so maybe im missing something or am just confused, dont bash me for asking because this is the first time ive read about this... is eric done for good? or is he moving and then starting up again? whats actually going on? i understand his mother is dying...

dont know much about sleds yet, but could be from an f7 which makes a lot of power, arctic cat says f7s make 140 HP, but i dont know if thats the engine you have...

keep your head up man. make sure you listen to these guys, i dont know much about the legal stuff, but my parents got a divorce about a year ago, and i still hear 3-4 times a week from each of them on how the other one is at fault. my dad was smart, he bought 2 sleds last year, and had them put in my grandmothers name until the divorce was over, then he did some kind of transfer so my mom wouldnt take them or make him sell them. i know she is my mom, but she took half of everything he worked for, and he gets left with double the mortgage he had before, a broken heart, and lawyer bills. he has moved on and is already engaged though so it seems like he is over it, still bitches all the time on how he got fucked over, but he was also wrong...

I need a place to get my shocks rebuilt
jeepman137 replied to GSXKID's topic in General Banshee Discussion
there is a place called "Racers Edge Performance" in West Springfield mass that does suspension work, i guess they are pretty good too, might wanna give them a call see what they can do for you, been to their shop many times and it seems like they know what they are doing... -
my first truck was a 1989 GMC s-15, the s-10 clone, it was the extended cab version, so i could fit me and 3 other friends (1 in the passenger seat, 2 squashed in the back) and i could fit both a 250 and 125 dirtbike in the back no problem. i didnt have a bedliner so it saved a tiny bit of space. im sure you could fit your banshee in the back, just have to get the front wheels over the wheel wells, or you could buy a trailer and use that, thats what i do now that i have my cherokee...

my buddy is looking for virgin cylinders for his banshee, stock bore and port, he is looking to give around $250 plus shipping for them... i dont know what the price for these would be normally, so please dont bash me for his price, he has no clue how to work a computer so im just posting for him... thanks in advance...

is the 15 in the front gonna hurt my low-end? i do mostly trail riding, with some wide open trails, and sometimes some street runs... the guy at work said i should either stay with the same gearing, or go to a 38 in the back...
-
ok, i have a 40 tooth in the back, 14 in the front, and im buying t5's off a buddy, right now i have pro circuits... i just also bought new rims off the same guy, but the rear ones were a different size, they were an 8 inch diameter, and my current tires are 10, so i bought new tires. the tires i bought were 20 inch tires, and i had 22 inch iRAZRs, so im just wondering if i should go up a tooth in the front, or drop a tooth in the back, for example go 15 in the front 40 in the back, or 38 in the back and 14 up front... or should i just keep it the way it is?

my first quad was my banshee, before that i had a little ttr-125 dirtbike, so it was a big jump, i just kept the throttle screw in for the first few weeks and unscrewed it a little a a time, and after about 3 months i unscrewed it completely and threw it in the tool box. i wouldnt reccommend doing what i did unless you learn to respect the machine, i was scared at first, which is a good thing. but now i actually scare myself because i think now im getting a little TOO comfortable with my shee. its all up to preference and skill i guess, we cant really choose for you... i would suggest try and find a rental place if you can, or find a trusting friend that will let you take their bike out for a test ride...

difference between stock and T5's and noss head
jeepman137 replied to 6speed's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
it sounds good to me, the only banshee ive ridden is mine, and i bought it with reeds, bored carbs, mild woods port, and pipes already on it, so i couldnt tell you the difference between stock and modded, but from all the reading i do ive learned that going from a stock banshee to a modded one is like night and day... good luck -
difference between stock and T5's and noss head
jeepman137 replied to 6speed's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
depends on the size of the domes you ordered, but i would expect a big gain from pipes alone, then if you got some good domes you can boost the compression, just be careful to run the right octane fuel for the compression you have... -
i know this will probably start a huge debate, but if i was you, i would just wait for the ps3 this spring, ive heard many times over that it blows the 360 out of the water...

ok, found them on there, i was going to the sport wheels instead of ultimate ones... the guy im buying them from said that the only real blemish is on the beadlock rim part itself, not the actual wheel, so he said that you can buy just the beadlock rim by itself if its that big of a deal, i dont really care, im just wondering where i can pick these up incase...
-
wow.... really sorry to hear that, hope it doesnt happen...

does anybody know of a site that sells these where i can see a picture or information or anything? i couldnt find them on RM, and did a search but nothing...

i have 2, a 2002 arctic cat z570, and a 1997 arctic cat zl440, the 440 is mine, havent ridden it yet, rode the 570 last year... this is technically my first year with a sled, but im kinda bummed that i got a 440 instead of something bigger, but i guess its better than nothing, and it will be a good learning sled... its just that i went out last season and i was riding the 570, and i wanted to go faster, but oh well, i'll have fun this year, and i'll be looking into something like ab f-7 in a few years, or maybe a 440 Sno-Pro, i hear those can do 100mph... the ones i have are only 75-80mph sleds...
-
no way, lol, im definitely buying them, cant pass up this deal...
