  1. ok, i have this guy i work with, he has tons of parts that he used to use, but now they just sit in his garage, and he made me an offer on some beadlocks he has. i dont know if they are blue label, red label, or anything like that, all i know is that they are douglas true beadlocks, he said he paid upwards of $600 for all 4, and offered them to me for $150, he originally offered $300, but then said he is desperate for money right now, so dropped it own to $150... i figured they will look good on my banshee after a little cleaning... i remember seeing a little gouge in one the rim, didnt look like it would affect anything like holding air or anything, but just appearance, so im wondering if they are worth the $150?
  2. i found one im really interested in... http://cgi.ebay.com/Garmin-eTrex-Vista-C-H...1QQcmdZViewItem im just wondering if anybody has one of these, or one like it, and how do they like it? also, im wondering if all GPS units can clock speed like ive heard? thanks in advance...
  3. like this one right here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Magellan-Explorist-200...1QQcmdZViewItem found that on eBay, it looks good, sounds like good features, shock resistance, stuff like that, accuracy within 3 meters, good price it seems like to me, but i just dont know about this stuff... im a firm believer in the quote "you get what you pay for" so i know i dont need some $350 unit, but i dont wanna buy like a $75 gps and have it break the first day...
  4. ok, im planning on asking for a GPS for christmas, for those riding trips, 4x4 adventures, and any other occasion, but it seems like its like buying a cell phone, there are so many models to choose from, with so many features, so i figured i would ask... im looking for a good one, not overly expensive, somthing that wont break easily, and somethign that has good clarity with good features, i found a few on eBay, but since i know nada about GPS systems, its hard to know if its a good price, and which ones are good, and which ones are junk... thanks in advance... Chris
  5. yup, i went at the end of july in myrtle beach... went twice, and it only cost me $5... the driver did the same thing to us, he started winching us in, and when we got to the point where there was only maybe 50-75 feet of rope left, he completely stopped, and our legs hit the water, and then he flew forward and we shot back up, then he winched us in the rest of the way, had a blast, first time ever doing that, and im glad i did...
  6. looks like an awesome shop... just wondering though, are you gonna be offering mail order on the site? i like dealing with small shops like yours, always seems to go smoother, even if they are far away...
  7. yes, socom III online is good, in some ways its not as good as socom II online, but in others its better, more players, more guns,VEHICLES, attachments like grenade launchers, silencers, laser sights, red dot sights, scopes, many other things... havent even touched single player yet, but from what i hear from my cousin it blows socom II single player out of the water, and he is angry with online right now, so he says its better graphics and everything than online is. from what i have seen, socom III online is even bigger, maybe twice the size of the socom II online community... basically, if you like shooters, and like multiplayer... get the game, and if you dont play online, ive heard the single player part of the game is even worth it... if anybody wants to play online, send me a friends list invite at 2000_BANSHEE
  8. i never played socom I, but i heard it was good, i started with II, and got addicted to the online play right then and have played II online all the time for the past almost 2 years, and now socom III is out, with vehicles, better guns... if i was you, i would pick up socom II used from gamestop or some place and play online, or just go strait to III and play online, its definitely worth getting into the online segment...
  9. just wondering if anybody else just bought this game, ive been online for an hour or so, seems like a good game so far...
  10. honestly, after reading that, i feel bad for the people that left, and owned businesses and lost everything, but the people that stayed were just retards, and from what i hear, peices of sh!t too, i dont know why they have to go around terrorizing the city, demanding stuff, not being grateful, makes me sick, cant believe that they are stealing t.v.'s and sh!t instead of food, and shooting at people, they dont deserve to live really...
  11. too late, already took it out... but i can easily sell the thing, a buddy wants it, so i'll just give it to him for $15 i guess... i was planning on running +4, but i dont want to run race fuel, its enough to premix fuel, dont want to mix race fuel and pump, plus that gets too expensive, and i trail ride and field ride mostly, so i just figured the advance would make it a bit peppier...
  12. ok, now my mods are in my singature, and i just bought a timing degree key from k&k for $20, and im just wondering if its a good idea to do +4 advance at this time, or will i have to run race fuel... the guy i ride with says i will be fine, but i dont want to chance anything, i havent done a compression check, so i dont know, im a little above sea level also.. thanks in advance chris
  13. yeah, i prefer stankervision, now thats funny, with the clown, yucko, they should do a whole show with just him talking to people on the streets... its stupid, but thats what makes it funny, but that andy guy is just retarded...
  14. hopefully somebody is smart enough not to bid, all that person did is copy and paste the specs from the yamaha website, and hopefully anybody that would bid would realize thats the only info that person posted, nothing about the fullbores, the tires, the rocket pipes, and the engine work etc. etc. funny thing is, that person has a 100% feedback rating with 23 feedback so far, so this might be his first time trying to cheat on eBay...
  15. just wondering, anybody own one? what games do you have for it? what are your likes and dislikes?
  16. bump.... anybody know? this guy told me that he will give me his main nozzles that are already done and he will take mine that arent done, so im wondering if he is trying to fuck me over or something...
  17. nice mods and everything, but the plastics have got to go... if you wanted a quad to look like a craptor, buy a craptor, dont take it out on a poor innocent quad... in my opinion, no 2 stroke quad should ever be made out look like a 4 stroke, it just doesnt seem right, its like putting z400 plastics on a lt250r, or 400ex plastics on a 250r, well actually these comparisons sucks becuase the years are way off, but you get what i mean... but anyways, nice quad, if thats what you prefer...
  18. ok, this guy at work, he wants to do these mods to my carbs, he says it works wonders, and he showed me his nozzles that he suppsoedly did it to, didnt really notice a difference, but i would like to know if it works... he said you you take the main nozzles out of the carbs, and i guess there are holes in the sides, and he says you can take one bit bigger than what the hole is, and basically "bore" the hole out, and he says that it makes a significant difference in top end... thanks in advance, Chris im probably in the wrong forum for this, so if i am, sorry, and please move it...
  19. yeah, i went from dominator to saber, and i like the saber better, i run it at 50:1... good luck...
  20. well i bought my bike for $2000 with everything in my sig already on it, and ive only put around $550 into it out of my own pocket so far with tires and noss head coming in the mail this week, so $2550, thats rounded...
  21. sheesh, for $590 they better not have been lying around, lol... if i was you i would have bought rockets when all your motor work gets done and told the guy to go pound sand for $590, i just checked on the rocket website and they have chrome rockets for $575 shipped. plus from what loco says rockets are better overall, just a thought, but sounds like you already made a choice... thats a big bill by the way, i just realized that what your paying for a rebuild i got my whole quad for $300 less than that...
  22. personally i would jump on it, 400 doesnt seem bad, and yeah, parts are a little scarce, but thats part of the fun, they are a rare and dying breed, you never see tecates anymore, they look good, and from what i hear, they were the fastest of the 250's back then...
  23. yeah, the frame im really gonna check, because its hard to fix that, the body, from the picture looks solid on the left side, doesnt show the right side, but i can either buy NOS parts, OEM parts from a catalog, or do some body work on it with steel plating or something... and the floors is also easy, well not easy, but its easier than the frame...
  24. sounds awesome... when you picked it up, what areas did you look at the most? frame? floors? engine? i mean basically for weaknesses because of age...
