ok fist off i did a search and there were many similar problem but none exactly like mine. first Q, if the fly wheel came off and destroyed the statorand picup coil could it short some thing out I.E. fry the cdi. it's an 03' tors is completely gone, stator and pick up coil are brand new and corectly gapped, coil is new, all wires are in good condition and all conections are dry and tight. so i have come to the conclusion that the cdi is smoked. and was wandering that if you guys agreed with my conclusion. because i value your collective hundereds of years of experiance with these bikes. thanks for any input. you guys rock.

i am going to be going to a 35mm carb in the near future and was wandering if jetting is going to stay about the same or am i ging to have to experament to get it right where it needs to be. also with a 2into1 manafold and a 40mm carb would i lose top end or should it stay about the same or better.

i was wandering if any one was running a clutch lock out. if so how do you like it. i am thinking of getting one due to exssesive clutch slipping while hill climbing or dragging.

i raced one yesterday with an alba pipe and lost by a bike length. when we went back to the start line you could see the reason why he beat me. he only spun his tires for about ten feet on take off as where i spun mine for about 70 ft. he got a good lead but i was catching him fast and if we woud have had about 50 more feet of lake bed i would have blow past him. i tried 2nd gear starts and shifting my weight all over the bike but nothing helped. long runs across the desert and on roads he was like 300 yards back. and he couldn't make it up about half the hill climbs i made.

plastic renew works well. i used it on my ky 500. after i was about half way done with the front fender i just went out and bought a new one because it was taking sooo long. i get impattient some times. and the new fenders were only 20 buck for that thing. so if you have the time and pattience and don't wanna spend a couple of hundred bucks. its probably just wat your looking for.

any thing smaller than 21cc domes and you will have to run race gas due to detonation. how exactly do you advance the timing any way. can it be done with out buying a new plate and which way do you move it?

we took a tire and hoisted it up over the flag pole so it was down around the base. we stole some ducks from a pond near by and let them lose in side the school and rearranged the school letters and made some new ones os it said suck me high. the tire was the best though. the janitors couldn't figure out how to get it back over the top so they cut it with a hack saw for about an hour and a half. man the were pissed.

fmf gnarlys, i have ridin fattys to but i like the low and mid range gains of the gnarlys better for drag and hill climbs. i smoke guys with toomeys in 300 ft drags, haven't gotta run them on any good hills yet. but i will soon

sounds to me like you had a water leak some where and posibly running lean to. every time i melted down the piston on my Kx 500 that is exacly how it burned up. check your head to make sure it isn't warped. also check on your water pump and make sure that it is working properly, some times they break. what kind of gear oil do you run? what were the levels?

dog shit under the door handles is always good. or you could put sugar all around the gas cap and in a pile on the ground by the tank so he thinks that sugars in his tank. pour coke on the windsheld and then throw a couple of hand fulls of sand on it. suran rap his dors shut. put pebbles in his valve caps so the air goes out of his tires. or just hump his wife or girl friend. or wait until its about to rain and dump a 10 lb bag of flour on his car. stick maxi pads and tampons with taco sause all over them all over his car. i have done all of these to people that have started wars with me. and i have many more that i still wanna try first.
