  1. Im running those new sand stars that have the double rib going down them. Personally I think they are light and all but there is probably a front tire out there that will grip better
  2. Personally I like how T5's and CPI's sound and couldnt make up my mind. So on my left side im running T5's and on the right side im running the cpi's its bad ass!!!!!!
  3. Hit her on the spot there NMBANSHEE
  4. Well after you right her hard a few times check them over and let us know how you like them. I have been thinking about getting them but they just dont look sturdy enough. If they work for other guys then Ill get a set
  5. check out skin industries for Banshee Graphics. I was going to get them until I decided to go with the clean and simple look
  6. Well that says a lot about your riding style loco. Next time you go out open her up a little and burn the carbon off
  7. Im interested in the Nerf Bars. send me an email with a price to [email protected]. Also are you planning on selling the plastics? Let me know as soon as possible. Thanks
  8. ya, I dont know specifics and I dont know if anyone really does know the truth behind all of this as far as what year will be the last but yes the Banshee is being discontinued. Pretty soon no dealer will be able to sell two strokes. The greenies have thrown a fit about polution and all that and so far are getting their way. I wonder if a dealership will legally be able to sell used Banshees. Also kinda curious as to what this is all going to do for the value of the Banshee. Im guessing once they are discontinued the value of the banshee wont depreciate very much. Hope this all helps you out a little bit. Oh, in case you havent figured it out this subject has been disussed 30 times on here so people are getting a little tired of hearing about it so be prepared for some slams.
  9. Are the electrical parts stock parts? I know they are new but did you upgrade the stater? This might help us answer your question
  10. well given your age I would have to suggest a 4x4 Toyota pickup. They are good on gas and you can beat the ever living dog shit out of them and they still keep going. Not to mention they are fun to four by. I would sell all the bikes and get you a decent truck to start with. If you want to buy another shee later then thats great but Im assuming you will want a few goodies for the new truck (stereo, wheels, lift, etc.)
  11. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  12. unfortunently yamaha really screwed us over with the ball joints. They are not removable and you cant replace them. You are the only person I have ever met that can manage to remove a stock balljoint, good jobb buddy. Anyways, ya you have to get a new A Arm. just get it off ebay and save yourself some cash.

  14. well, guess that answers my question. For now Ill just have to paint them. What paint will hold up the best for A Arms?
  15. ok, well unless someone rings in here and says not to do it then they are on their way to the powdercoater first thing in the morning. So if anyone knows anymore about having them done please please let me know. Thanks a bunch
  16. Hey guys, I just picked up a bitchen blaster for $500. everything on it is chromed or powdercoated but the a arms and axle. My question is can I have the stock a arms powdercoated? I know on Banshee's there is a plastic something or rather that will melt on the a arms but will I still run into this problem with the blaster? It has to be heated up to 400 degrees. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks again.
  17. $450 is way to much to rebuild the shock. check with your local repair shops and see what they charge. rebuilding a shock isnt like porting, almost everyone will do it the same so you dont have to worry about who is better just go for the cheapest price and a guarantee never hurts either.
  18. ill be the first to piss and moan. something better then my cpi's? cant be, hehehehe. well I got to hand it to Rocket, they make a mean pipe. on your graph there was one point where there was a 12hp differance. That can mean a lot if your dragging. The thing you have to remember though is that the rockets might have dyno'd better on your bike but the CPI's may have Dyno'd better if it were a differant motor set up. Either way they are both bad ass pipes. Thanks for sharing the dyno results with us.
  19. mine bolted right up with no problem. I didnt need to cut anything on the frame or use any extenders of any kind. I dont use pipe clamps as where the silencer and the pipe meet is a very tight fit anyways. Just greese up the part that fits on the head really good. Goop that stuff on there so you dont have a airleak. Give them a try before you start hacking at your frame. Good luck
  20. Well, I will be giving that a try in the very near future. I only had one question. How did you cut the thickness of the pad down? I also wanted to thank you and anyone else that has taken the time to do a editorial with pictures for all of us. We all apreciate it. Good Job
  21. have your head shaved and run engine ice in it. its a much cheaper alternative to buying the expensive aftermarket head setup. they can change the dome size on your stock head to whatever you want. have them put 20's in there and you should be fine. I had them put 19's in mine and love them. good luck.
  22. Toomey T5's are a nice pipe for the dunes and once you get out there you will notice that everybody has them. CPI's will give you some more power and they sound just as nice as the T5's. I run CPI's and wouldnt ever buy a diferent pipe. I have seen a lot of guys try trading theyre Toomys for CPI's but once you get CPI's you wont ever go back. I also hear that shearer and rockets are similar to CPI's so you may want to look into them as well. Good Luck
  23. Sredish, Id kiss that bolt goodbye. If your talking about the bolt that goes thru the swingarm then by the time you get her out its going to be garbage. It took a lot of coexing with a large sledge hammer to get mine out. Basically there is a sleve in there which the bolt runs thru. the sleve is gets jammed in there and then the bolt rusts to the inside of the sleve. Your going to need the swingarm pivot bolt kit which is around $45. I could be wrong on which bolt you are talking about though since my banshee is at the chromers so I cant go out and look to see for my self. Good Luck with it.
  24. Engine Ice is the best coolent on the market. Its a little spendy and I had a hard time paying the $16 for my fist jug of it but I wont run anything else now. Posibly the best money I have spent in a long time. Go get ya some, you wont regret it.
  25. sometimes I just wait for NYUK to reply cause I know its gonna be some funny smart ass shit. but shemale? thats discusting
