  1. i think some companys make them to improve air flow but i would just go with the style you like because i dont think it would be that big of a inprovement. just my opinon i went with the Slotted style and it looks sick on my bike hope this helps also i dont think youll over heat that much i ride my bike at least 8 hours a day when ever i go to big sand mountain utah and i have yet to over heat during the hotter times it gets up to 106 out there
  2. ya im getting way to much wheel spin and im maxing out way to early i love it when i ride in the sand but on rare occasions when i go with my uncle my bikes not even fun on the hard pack. and i dont really ride trails just open land with river trenches and ditches and stuff to cruise in so i just want something that i could stay in like 3rd and still keep the rpms up im going to just buy one i think thanks for any and all input

  5. hey guys my dad has a 400 ex and im sick of having to wait for him when we ride so i told him if he gives me a 1500 budget i would make his bike nice (although i dont think its really worth it to soup up a 400 ex) so this is what i was thinking a 440 big bore kit, cams, 8 paddle haulers thats i got so far what do you think is the best mods for it. also im deciding between the 416 bore kit and the 440 bore kit ive heard that the 416 has more power any opinons or help would be greatly appriciated thanks for any help sorry its not a shee question
  6. defenitly go with the t-5's there like a hundred bucks cheeper and while sand draging with just pipes and airfilter and jets agains someone with t-6's pipes filters and jets i won him by just a quad length they give more power with just stock but who leaves there banshee stock anymore just my opinon hope this helps either way toomeys are a great pipe

  9. ya man have you ever raced the one guy with the yfz thats super modded. prob +6 swinger shit load of chrome super super fast quad hes older guy alwayz has glasses and rides with a blond chick who also has a yfz damn that guy is fast. i love sand mountain couldnt ask for more you got a slight steepness (vally), your medium steepness ( the race way) and your super steep (fingers) which the fingers are easy to climb but its still tricky when your close to stock
  10. you will notic a huge diffrence in hook up and acceleration but a slight lost in turning power i would defenetly go witht the 8 paddle though i had it stock it worked fine and now i got pipes filter jets cool head and they still hook up like a dream. theres not much potential for the 7 paddles hope this helps jj

  12. hey guys i just took the shee for a ride i mostly like to hill shoot so i have 13/41 gearing but whenever i go with my uncle or friends on hard pack its not even enjoyable to ride it i was thinking of going with a 15 tooth sprocket to give it a more 4 stroke kind of feel what do you guys think my mods are tomey t-5s, filter, jets, cool head w/19 cc domes do you think it will still have enough torque with such high gearing i do have my 14 tooth stocker that ill try but for 7-14 bucks i dont see a waste if it works well but tell me what you think thanks for any help jj

  15. i dont think a shee frame is best for a streatbike motor i see them comon in 400ex's and raptors though but you can try it i think a cr 500 will give you all the power you could dream of i dont know do what ever you want not much help either
  16. man your friend is a dumb ass i dont know about metrics but the most your going to get is maybe if your super lucky is 1mph faster just cause of less drag/resistance but dont count on a whole new quad just by cutting the fenders
  17. my first quad was a yamaha breeze good times funnest damn quad ive ever owned as far as street riding goes as for a beginer quad i would sugest a 4 stroke i would say a 450 would be good even a little quad just till you get the basic concepts of riding my turing point from to begginer to intermediate was on my 250 ex preatty good quad not much power but a great learners quad
  18. yeah i got a shoot out mag right in front of me it contains 7 quads banshee, raptor, preditor, baja, kfx 700, yfz 450, trx450r the rusults where 7th banshee 6th preditor 5th kfx 700 4th baja 3rd yfz 450 2nd trx450 1st raptor 660 and get this they had diffrent paddles on each model dumb asses i think its an older dirt wheel like 2 years old but the shee in 7th gay. they say cause its hard to start, its unreliable 2-stroke and because its not rider friendly lol gay shit. my sister who never rides hoped right on my shee and screamed up sand mountain there full of shit
  19. id say anywhere from 3700 to 45oo 3700 being preatty good deal and 4500 being average or a litty above avearage

  25. hey all i finally got a noss machine cool head it is great i love it but i have a question. could i still ajust my timing +4 and run 91 octain i think my elevation is around 4200 feet if not higher im in utah and i ride big sand mountain so if anyone has this set up and runs 91 octain plz tell me. also im not going to try this but was just wondering what would happen if you ran lower octain then your suppose to and is it even possible to run a to high octain. thanks for any help and thanks dlnoss for a great item easy to install to
