Has anyone every heard of Mikuni TMX Carbs? I was just lookin around on some websites and found this new carb. It's susposed to provide greater low end & mid range. What do you guys think of it? http://www.esr250.com/banshee.htm#mikuni

if i were you i would definately get a 2 in 1 carb setup, i hear they are real good for more low and mid.

most of the atv parks I go to check for spark arrestors. i never really see ppl checking decibels, because your going to hear amounts of noise one way or another at an atv park. they are real serious about the spark arrestors though, you cant get in without them. i've seen a couple of people get left at the door b/c of no spark arrestors, so be sure to get some.

you can get one from quicksand, or have your stock one shortened. best place is 2 look on ebay for one. and yes a skidplat will fit onl a -1, but on a -2 it wont fit.

i heard kenda klaws are real good tires. and about the cv, i would get a 35 if he is planning on getting porting, like some trail porting. most likely he should get the air filter and pipes first, would the 35 perform good with that?

if your going to be riding in the dirt, i would have to say a pro design foam filter kit over a k&n. fmf fatty's are real good pipes, with an affordable price. yea i would agree that paul turner midrange pipes are the best for low-mid , but if u dont have a big budget then i wouldn't get them, fatty's will perform good enough. for more low end, get the Trinity CV single carb setup w/ a 35mm carb. you can get your head milled to increase your compression, or get an aftermarket head. if you looking to get more traction, you can get your stock swingarm shortened -2 by Quicksand Motorsports, it will hook up more in the dirt. if you dont like the stock banshee suspension, some aftermarket shocks should help out.

kazaa is not safe at all, it destroyed my old computer I had. i use kazaa lite, works way better, never had any viruses or spyware from it at all.

they have another flywheel puller out there, but it costs 100. it was specifically designed for the raptor.

you will loose gas mileage, thats the only one i could think of. but then again, you can buy a bigger gas tank.

i dunno about everything black. black fenders with some chrome always looks good tho, like pipes, bumper, rims, a-arms, etc. i would say black fenders and frame, and maybe swingarm.

I know head milling is cheaper than buying an aftermarket head, but do they preform the same? Also, are aftermarket heads just good for being able to switch your domes up for different compression?

Does anyone have a dyno sheet of some PT Mids and Fattys on a stock machine? I want to compare the results. If anyone has one or can find one that would be great, I am still looking for one myself.

a -2 swingarm would hook up better. 2in1 carb, some ptr mids, and some good suspension should have you rollin better than the stock setup. just run some laps with both quads, like people are saying to do, and see which one feels better.
