at least get a new air filter on it. having a stock quad is semi bad, always get a new air filter for more air flow and better protection from dirt.

u need to run such a high octane because of his 16 cc domes w/ his aftermarket head. u can replace those domes with like some 20-21cc domes and run pump gas, its not that big of a deal to change them.

welcome! i suggest u get the filter first, always the best since the stock filter is crap. since you said u trail, get some fmf fattys, good all around pipe, especially for trails. they have a nice kit on alba for about $480, with the acception of a air filter adapter that u will need for $ 45, making is $525. http://alba.buyol.com/Item/banpk.htm and http://alba.buyol.com/Item/PD201RC.htm . the powercore2 is a real good silencer, the cheapest and most badass sounding one for the fattys.

get some fattys or procircuits. dont get toomeys they are top end pipes, not 2 good for trails, u willl be clutching it alot.

toomey silencers !!!! . if not that, the powercores, my opinon. I never heard how a banshee sounds with the titanums, only the 1 i named. and plus, the powercores are shorter, the turbines are longer and more of a spark arrestor pipe thatn the powercores.

when they idle, the 2 strokes are louder and the 4 strokes are low, but they hit the throttle and start moving away the 4 strokes get real loud and the 2 strokes sound just fades and is lower. just watch this video, the banshees are barely loud compared to the 4 strokes riding up the hill: http://www.quicksandmotorsports.com/mpegs/jump.mpg . I think someone needs to bring this up with some of the SVRA riding sites. they passed that bull about the 2 strokes being loud just to give them another way to put more shit on 2 strokes so they can ban them. Oh yea, another thing. BriggsRi if u ride in forests and stuff u might want to go with a banshee from 1987-2002 because 03-05 banshees are red stickered, meaning they cant even ride through more than half od the year. I think its from october to june or soemthin.

if u want em real load order the toomey t3 silencer kit off the toomey website. if there are places where u ride that dont allow loud sounding banshees and require spark arrestors, get the hush kit with your order.

most people nowadays are ridin 4 strokes. by next year I dont think the price for banshees will go up at all because there isnt a real big demand for them. u can find a banshee for sale almost anywhere.
