  2. happen to have a pic of the race nose with stock gas tank and rad plastics? im interested in purchasing one. PM me
  3. thanks man those boots worked like a charm
  4. Yah the threads don't look jacked I will try to clean them. Im assuming I can get the wired brush at a hardware store?
  5. yes i know its reverse threaded. i will try to clean the threads on the flywheel, i know the flywheel puller is good because it threads to my extra flywheel. but if worse comes to worst, where do i get the jaw puller from.
  6. ok so I got this flywheel puller and it won't thread with my flywheel on my bike but it threads with this extra lightened flywheel that I have. Not sure what to do
  7. anyway to fix if they have a small tear? instead of buying brand new ball joints
  8. the idle screws on the tors?
  9. jasonsbanshee you hit it right on the dot. the throttle cable was disconnected, i dont know why. but i got everything back up and running, and man shee pulls way harder. no bogging no hesitation at all. only one thing, shee was revving up real high when i put the carbs back together but it stopped for some reason i think the slide was getting stuck. now i just need to sync my carbs because my left slide sits a little higher than my right slide, so my left side smokes a little more.
  10. anymore insight on this? or should i just wait to install my tors eliminator kit so i wont have to worry about all this.
  11. so the bit does infact go all the way through the carb when u drill it? and then you tap the hole and put the idle screws in place correct?
  12. He's just curious . But yeah their are a few people that sell the tors eliminator kit. Vito's, Toomey also does on their website, and their are a few kits on ebay i've seen. I just purchased my vito's kit off ebay for about $50. TORS just makes taking the carbs apart a pain in the ass. The TORS box is underneath the gas tank i believe? I think you just disconnect everything when you install the eliminator kit.
  13. yes they do infact make pipes. they make a mx pipes, inframe drag, and OOF drag pipe. i've never seen any of them for myself , but those do look like the silencers they make for the 250's so i would guess the pipes are ct racing.
  14. yah i figured that, i went ahead and bought a pair of yfz hubs and spindles. im thinking about upgrading my brake system too, what all from a yfz450 do i need to do so?
  15. I dont think its the cable splitter because the left cable still pulls but just the slide doesn't pull. I think its someing in the tors top thats stopping the cable from pulling the slide
  16. popped open the carbs today... jetting was the toomey t5 jet kit that comes with the pipes, 280 DJ mains & toomey needle on 4th clip. i did notice that my carbs had alot of gunk inside them so i swaped em for a extra set of clean stockers i had, jetted accordingly...and it made a HUGE difference. only problem now is the left slide doesnt open only the right slide, not sure whats causing it? when i opened the carb tops and pulled the thumb throttle, the right slide would pull but the left slide wouldnt budge. whats causing this?
  17. found one thanks!
  18. im in the process of changing my suspension and read about yfz spindles gaining more travel on a banshee with yfz450 a-arms. my question is do i need the whole yfz setup with yfz spindles and hubs or can i use yfz spindles with my banshee hubs.
