  1. I like to sandblast my entire bike every time I ride it. Gets those pesky black plastic sidecases right off. I know those are a tricky item on banshee. Let me tell you... sandblasting will take it all right off.
  2. I painted my plastics with rhino-lining. You can beat the shit out of it and it doesn't care.
  3. Hey Rippen, if you do send it out to PC let me know I might send some stuff with you, maybe we can get a package deal or something if we send a bunch of crap.
  4. I can't wait to come down and ride with you this year. It's going to be a blast. You have any trouble getting through any of the shoots down at walden with that front end? i am only running +2+1 and sometimes my shit will rub the trees.
  5. Nah, had to go cut firewood. Got really cold out here this last two weeks.
  6. There is another post already active with this topic. Do a search.
  7. It's not too hard for me. I have a tough time sometimes, but after you get the shift star mod it's no where near as bad as stock.
  8. I don't do either one, but my new girlfriend smokes. I think it's kinda sexy. My dad smoked all the time when I was growing up, so the smell and second hand smoke doesn't bother me at all.
  9. Lookin good! Someone will be happy.
  10. Something isn't adjusted right, or your chain actually is worn. You should never have to drill anything out to make it work right. There is plenty of adjustment in the stock setup. Once you can't adjust it any more, its time for a new chain and sprockets. Don't drill anything out like that, just fix it right.
  11. Has GRR come out with their in-frames yet? Basically the same pipes, for people who want those pipes and can't win the highest bid from this guy. Free Bump. Wish I had the money to get them from ya right now.
  12. Check this out.... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...look+what+i+got Scroll down for pics of it installed once you go to that link.
  13. Actually, I've had wiseco pistons shatter into 3 to 5 pieces on more than one occasion with my old 87 shee. I only use wiseco in mine, and other than the problems I ALWAYS had with my 87, they are a good choice.
  14. I like the tire tracks, I think that's what makes it a cool pic. I was the only one out there. And, actually the sand was wet and hard, I got off of it and walked right over to where the pic is taken. If you look at the big version of the pic that I posted in the images section you can actually see some footprints. Sorry. lol And it wasn't planned at all, I just stopped and got off and snapped a quick pic and kept riding. Didn't even think about it. I take a lot of pictures like that.
  15. Thanks for the compliments on the sig pic. That is out at the killpecker sand dunes here in wyoming. It's like that most days, only a couple people out there, and you only see them if you go looking for them. Once it gets warm though it gets kinda busy on the weekends.
  16. Ha Ha! An even better reason not to sell my Gorr woods ported stock cylinders! I'm glad I got some.
  17. I know we poked a lot of fun at him for something a while back, but don't know the guy personally.
  18. I'm going to run KY jelly in mine! Should provide plenty of LUBE!
  19. Imagine the power!
  20. The CR500 can be put in with some pretty simple mods. I know some memebers have done it before.
  21. Pick yourself up a clymer manual. Only $30 and it can tell you everything you need to know about the tranny. You could have bent shifter forks, a bad drum, you might consider a shift star mod after you iron out the main problem.
  22. Do a search next time. If it is overheating you have something wrong with jetting most likely. Probably a lean condition. Check for air leaks around all your intake boots and check your gaskets. Do a search for how to check that kinda stuff.
  23. If that's not customer service I don't know what is.
