  1. Somehow for the second time in one season I will be there for the entire weekend w/no kids or responsibilities and I need a die hard to Party with!!!!!!!!!!!! You better make it up JD!!!
  2. I have already gotten on JD about this. Bring your bike to the track JD, I always have my leakdown tester and I will even bring my little spray bottle of soapy water
  3. Absolutely! Just come over at noon or after you get your vouchers. Should be able to get about all the runs you like!
  4. If I am not mistaken, Kevin Gigot does a lot of fuel injection setups for Banshees. I do not have his contact info, maybe someone will chime in.
  5. ROFL...LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I guess she'll be alright then.....bike looks pink to me lol!
  7. I would say definately. You are definately affecting case volume w/that much spacing. If you are trying to clear your carbs then just put the spacers after the reeds and it shouldn't affect much that way.
  8. Couple of us have gotten together and rented WMSD Friday September 3rd at 12:00 PM. The rental will be for 4 hrs and then the track runs their own test and tune after our rental time. The cost will be $30 per person and that will get you 4hrs of private track rental time and then an additional 4-5 hrs of open to the public test and tune time for a total of 8-9 hrs. All additional money accumulated beyond the track rental fee will go as a tip to the WMSD crew as they are a stand up crew and are always good to us. For those of you who have never been, when you get there you will register yourself and get a number for your bike at the tower. You will have to sign a waiver and pay then. If you are a duner and have never been to the track, I urge you to come and give it a shot. There is no pressure, you are really only racing yourself and is a great oppurtunity to see how your machine stacks up w/others. You do not need a wheely bar or struts, you can come dune ready and have a ball. You will get a time slip after every run w/MPH, elapsed time, and 60 ft time. Is a great way to tune your bike as well. The things that are required are a teather type kill switch, long pants, and they like to see long sleeve shirts and boots(they are usually not too worried about the shirts and boots and boots can be just plain workboots). The crew at WMSD is real easy going and they really just want to see us all have a fun and safe time. If you think you may come, just let me know w/a reply to this post. If you are not sure, no biggie, just trying to get a rough head count. Hope to see as many of you there as possible. See you all soon!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Don't see a 1 ton, single wheel, gasser Chevy very often. Very nice truck.
  10. I have been running a PE for 5 yrs through a 4 mill stock cyl drag port, and now the second yr on a 10 cub on alky. No grooving, no problems.
  11. You don't seem very bright dco. Says at LS......Also, Fouled has a 14 DM.....I guess he doesn't know shit
  12. No question period.....you gotta have a +14. I have a 10 cub and small RO 14 staggered extremes. I sit on the tank and still have to feather the throttle almost every run. You will certainly blow off the 14 haulers, but as mentioned, throw gear at it and you will be good. Short shift it if you have to, obviously plenty of power for that. Once you get to a 10 cub and up, anyone can win. It is hard to put more power to the ground than that w/o a wheely bar. Where you would shine w/the bigger motors in the dunes is on longer runs. I am jealous, wish I could make it down...
  13. Unfortunately, it looks like I am out. I looked at my vacation days left and have nowhere near enough time left for this trip. Thank you for offering a ride Shayne, i reeeeaaaallllllyyyyy wish I could go. Have to catch you all next year. And make sure you Michigan boys represent!!!!!!!
  14. Get that shit fixed!!!! I was looking forward to seeing you run.
  15. My pleasure on the vids. My mom took a lot of pics so i will see what she has and post them. I still have to work out a swap w/ya Lindz on a few pics, you have taken a few badass ones that I would like to frame. And Toytech, i can pretty much guarentee you there is not a much friendlier group than ours, I am not sure who you tried to talk to..... Def. try again!!! We all love talking Banshees and partying after!!!!
  16. Had a blast, was difficult meeting people as we were kinda split up. Still a great time though. I am all about trying to work out another weekend before Labor weekend. First time postin vids, so don't know how to chop em up yet lol. And don't mind the newby camera operater. http://yfrog.com/n37172010142702z
  17. Well JD, I am sorry to hear you are not going to be able to make it. I will just have to come down and party on the lake w/ya if I can't catch up w/ya sometime at the dunes or track. Look forward to seeing the rest of ya. Not getting in till 9 or so tonight. I will see you all on the dunes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. A simple thing a lot of people overlook is how you are shifting. When you get in the heat of the race, you may not be letting the shifter all the way back down between shifts. If you don't, it will not "ratchet"per say, and won't be able to shift to the next gear. Try adjusting your shifter a little higher where you almost have to labor or really reach to get that shift. Just something easy to check before you go digging into it.
  19. Do you just not come around when I can make it? Are you trying to avoid me? Lol! No seriously though, it is an HQ ride JD. What better time to showcase and talk about your business and products. You have got to make this one bro!!!
  20. Most alky carbs use them. You can use them in a gas carb for easy adjustment, just not necessary. They work fine.
  21. He is back to work and is doing very well. 517-244-0712. This might be one of the slowest times of the year for him too.....good time to call.
  22. Wow!!!! Very sad. That video is awesome and gave me goosebumps. RIP, I am glad she was at least doing what she loved when this tragedy took place. What a loss to our sport Great post Savage!
  23. My sister and her family will be at Yogi and it looks like we are going to end up in a hotel. As sad as it is, I may be going to yogi for the party lol. Looks like there is going to be a good turnout. I am excited!
