  1. Let me know if I can help at all guys. I do everything.
  2. This pic will give you a good idea of what you are looking for. You can see where the black is. It is where it has burnt the strap and an ideal plug will have that burn to 3 and 9 o clock on the plug. As you can see, this one is more like 4 and 11 but you get the idea. No need to cut the plug. Unless you are almost too lean, you won't show heat after just one pass. I generally use 3 full throttle runs and then check the plug. If you build heat to 3 and 9 after about 3 runs you are spot on. If you want to hot lap the motor you should prolly richen it up a little from there.
  3. That is a 4.31 first time ever riding bike on a nice and heavy track. Motor runs very smooth and is a great runner. Chris is a straight shooter as well, no worries buying here. And a smoking deal I might add! Good luck w/the sale Chris!
  4. Yes Jeff. I am familiar w/the PWK's and the lectrons. In your case Jeff, you just need to change out the needle and seat and you are all set. The black octagon pump is what I use, but Dajogejr uses the smaller volume pump and gets away w/that just fine. The larger is 65 Lph and I wanna say the smaller is like 35Lph. I am sort of experiencing a brain fart right now, but if I remember correctly, you have one or the other w/the PWK's. You either have pumper carbs or you don't. You can get away w/running a pretty good length w/billet bowls, I just prefer a Pump.
  5. I prefer a pump, but you can run gravity feed w/bigger bowls. It is not suggested(if you are running longer than 300 ft then forget about it) but plenty of people get away w/running stock bowls on smaller stock cyl builds. The pump could possibly save you from Hydro locking a motor and since you can just leave your petcock on all the time w/a pump you don't run a rick of burning down your motor from forgetting to turn the fuel on. The down side to a pump is you have to drill a pulse line in the cyl somewhere(which is actually very easy). And w/a pump, you should really never have to worry about length of run, etc.
  6. Good question. I only have one vehicle to put in line. I will have the dune ready vehicle all set. If Jesse is coming Thursday night Jt, have him call me. 269-420-1190.
  7. Good deal JT. It def. looked worse than that on my bent ass frame lol. See everyone Friday. I will be at the track after breakfast. I will get w/you Thursday night about meeting early Friday morning Shayne.
  8. I think that will cover us. I need 3 dune ready's for each day. Shayne needs one, and one for Jesse....that leaves 3 more..... We will have to get JD's on somewhere as well. If we have to, we can always get JD a trailor voucher to park his SS in the parking lot. I would figure we can get his on somewhere though. When the dune ready line moves up at noon on Friday, we just have to move up the vehicle that is going to stay in line for the trailor vouchers. So most likely, so we don't get passed up in line, we will have whoever moves up the trailor voucher vehicle stay w/that vehicle and pick them up after grabbing the dune readys. If we get in line nice and early it should be a pretty quick trip through the line so that person won't be left hangin for long.
  9. You are right Chris, only 4 to a vehicle. Unlike trailor vouchers, each person can get two dune ready's for each day. So we can get 8 dune ready's for each day....do we need more than that? How about trailor vouchers....do we need more than 4? And we will definately make arrangements so Jesse doesn't have to sit in his car all morning LOL.
  10. Sounds good fella's....can't wait!!!!!!!! I will keep an eye out for Jesse....Do you know what time he will be there JT? And he is coming to the track right?
  11. Chris, Jd, and Shayne. If Shayne is alright w/it, we can just leave his vehicle in line to keep a place for trailor vouchers and use mine for dune ready's. I think our voucher line vehicle will be a suburban so we should have plenty of room. If need be we can always go back and swap Shaynes truck out if he needs it. We should be able to take care of Jt and Junior as well this way as long as we have enough riders at 9 to get the amount we need. What do ya all think?
  12. I only plan on getting dune ready's unless I have a problem getting an early enough time.
  13. Just remember I don't think you can be in line till 6am Friday morning. No problem at all on the arm Jt. That one should do you ok.... It's a Havoc! Besides, it still looks as good as it does after a pretty good wreck.... I think it is plenty tough Lol. Good deal Shayne, sounds like we should be able to cover vouchers ok. I plan on being at the line at 6 a.m. to drop a vehicle this time. No more fiasco's like memorial weekend...
  14. Ok, that makes sense. I have heard about this possibly happening and am stoked. It is gonna be a killer track if they follow through w/everything. Is there any test and tune?
  15. Good deal JD. Let's get that thing running decent!
  16. Really.....Sounds interesting, I might have to try and make this one.
  17. The up side to the GRR is there is less to come apart and wreak havoc inside your cases. The downside is tuneability and you can make the DD hold more power as there is more potential for weight. I have a GRR and it worked great for my 4 mill stock cyl alky bike. I did not even try to run it on my 10 cub. I ended up drilling it and adding bolts essentially making it just like a direct drive. The one thing I can say about a modified GRR is it has more potential for holding power as the fingers are real beefy and you can put whatever size bolts and nuts you want in it(within reason of course). The down side of modifying one is trying to drill the bolt holes perfectly as to try and maintain balance. They spin awful fast to be unbalanced as I am sure you can imagine....
  18. That sucks JT . We should be ok, we will see how it turns out. How did that swinger end up lookin? Right now I have two people for the dune ready voucher line and we need 4. I will see if I can find another rider. I have to be at the track or I would def. be able to hook you up. If someone else can for sure, that would be cool. If not, we will try and figure something out!
  19. I have seen a slipping clutch heat up the the tranny fluid and boil over out the breathers. Something else to check.
  20. 1 week away...excited to see everyone!!!!
  21. I had to space out my footpegs and custom bend the brake lever to fit when I had my stock frame.
  22. Looking real nice....and that pipe is badass!!!
  23. It is going to be hard to tell w/o either track or dyno numbers. From experience, I and many others can get you where you wanna be. Wether you run gas or alky will also make a difference in selection. A 4 mill cub will for sure want the 39 on alky. It will be up in the air a little on gas for the cub. Most will tell you a 39 PWK on gas as well, but some respected builders may disagree. On a stock cyl 4 mill, I have used a set of 39 PWK's on alky and they worked great. I would definately stick w/ the 35 for gas and you can get away w/the 35 on alky and make very similar power to the 39. Remember that twice as much liquid(when running alky as opposed to gas) will take away some of the available space for oxegyn.
