  1. Didn't get a chance to take a picture of her tonight but here is one from six months ago.
  2. Nice looking dogs. I will post a pic of my rednose when I get home. They are awesome dogs if you treat them like a part of your family like any other dog. Extremely smart as well.
  3. 4th position from the pointy end sounds lean to me. I would at least run it in the middle position if not second notch from the pointy end. I agree w/dajogejr on the pilot.
  4. Please email pics to [email protected]
  5. This is something you may want to read to help you make a decision on which oil to use. It is the best writeup I have seen on 2-stroke oil. Read Backcountry's first post. He is a very reputable builder who is more than happy to share information and always testing something. Here's a link. http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf.../0/fpart/1/vc/1
  6. Pro flow adapter will not work for you? Someone on here has one for sale I am sure.
  7. Are you using a filter adapter such as the Pro-design, or are you using the stock filter w/lid off?
  8. I run +6 degrees of timing and 190 lbs per cylinder on 110(cam2) Top end looks great after a whole dune season. You are fine w/the fuel you are using.
  9. I wouldn't. If you want to get away from this pain in the rear, you can have your stock head cut for o-rings, or buy a noss-head or other similar aftermarket.
  10. Good call, I forgot that possibility
  11. I don't have a 400ex but sand is a power robber. Everything feels slower in sand(granted you didn't spin wildly on whatever terrain you are caomparing it to). A 14 will help, but a 400ex is about like a Warrior, DOG!!!!!
  12. PM NYUK, he may be able to help you out. I also see Fxitrod is parting out a bike, might need to email him though, he hasn't been around the forum as much lately. [email protected](i believe)
  13. The only things that should make a bike richer(given you haven't changed your setup any) would be clogged filter or intake tract, warmer temerature, clogged silencers(have had packing build up and block silencer opening before) or increased elevation. Possibly your plugs degraded in some way, but it is a long shot.
  14. Your pilot will never be clean if you don't blow compressed air through it. I wouldn't use a wire brush of any sort. Carb cleaner and air is all you should need.
  15. Yes! I would go 27.5, and be between 1 and 2 turns out. You may possibly be a hair lean still on your main. You might even try lowering the clip on the needle one notch as well. The needle takes care of your middle jetting ckt.
  16. What is your elevation. Fatty's like a bigger pilot. If you are running a stock pilot, you should only be about a half turn out on your airscrews. Again this also depends on your elevation. I found at sea level, w/a K+N and no lid, between 300-320 main jets. Also lower the clip on your needle one notch.
  17. 14-45 is about the equivalent of running 13-41. You are probably close to where you should be for a trail bike.
  18. It does leak between the cylinders as it is supposed to. Only dropping 1 psi in 40 minutes is spectacular! Run it.
  19. This is the best writeup I have seen on 2-stroke oils and is done by a very reputable builder. Read Backcountry's first post. http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf.../0/fpart/1/vc/1
  20. Second!
  21. I wouldn't buy a jet kit. Waste of money. Buy the jets that you need, stock needle is plenty tunable for stock porting. What pilot and mains are you running w/those fattys? How is your airbox set up?
  22. I have a ladder style Podos and was a little dissapointed w/the welds myself. The chrome is ok, looks good shined up. I can say I beat the shit out of it duning and dragging(whooped out all year I might add) and has held together just fine. My evaluation of their product would be if you are looking for a swingarm that looks good and very functional, can't beat the price. If you are building a show bike, better keep looking.
  23. I have heard great things about Redline as well. Just to throw out another option for you, I have a drag port (stock cyl) by Patriot and am very happy w/it. They are not in Oregon, but very close. Heres a website:http://www.patriotracing.net/
  24. I agree!
