  2. In a very short time you will want to build a bigger stroker motor....
  3. 130'ish. And I mean ish depending on how well you get it tuned.
  4. Might as well just give up now Nasty...No room for theives around these parts...
  5. They can be converted and will work and will give you a power increase. But they will definately not be optimal for your setup. If you decide to convert them, I would start w/drilling the dump tubes at .120 and run the main to start at .120. You will prolly be rich, but that is where you wanna start. You will also want to start w/a large pilot. You may want to ask Fouledout421. He had a set of stockers converted that him or his brother in law ran, he may even still have them. He may sell them, but if not, will be able to set you up. You may not be able to contact him till after the weekend, he is at a race.
  6. I have used a 400 grit paper and works well, but I typically don't scuff new ones. I scuff and clean up old ones that way.
  7. It depends what kinda riding you do. The taller tire will provide more of a footprint on the ground at one time which gives much better traction. There is no comparison between a 10 paddle 20 inch hauler and a 22 inch 10 paddle w/a decent rollout(70-72). The down side of the big tire and rollout is they are not a duning tire. For one, most of the big rollout tires are buffed real thin and don't hold up to sticks, rocks, etc... Also, you start to get tire roll when doing hard turns w/the big rollout.
  8. If you are just running a gradual hill, I would run the rippers.....but, 12 inch. swinger isn't going to be enough w/that kinda tire. I don't have a close up pick of my engine stay but maybe someone can post a pick for you. If you have too much trouble, you can just trade me that monster for my 10 mill A&S cub
  9. Me too...WHOOOHOOOO!
  10. Sounds like you are right on track.
  11. Why after the 4th?
  12. I'll hit him up. I will get back to ya guys.
  13. What he meant is you are going to have to have an engine stay additional to all the mounts. And I don't have a DM, but yes, it will twist that bad.
  14. I would like to know as well. I hear it is not a paddle track though
  15. I would guess .116's, 52 pilot, and needle and clip will depend on how large your dumps are drilled. I find that it is much easier to start off pig rich on your pilot and needle as well as your main and bring the main down untill it shows some heat on the plugs. Once you see heat, you can start to dial in your pilot and needle. You will have to do those by feel. So basically make sure you have to rap it a hair to get her cleaned out when you first start dialing it in. You can then fine tune the low end once you have the main and pj settings figured out. On my 4 mill stock cyl I ran .120 mains w/PJ almost closed, 52 pilot, airscrew 1 turn out and leaned the needle down to the second from top notch on the needle. I could have definately went 116's and made use of the PJ. The bigger your dump tube is drilled, the more you will want to lean the needle.
  16. D&M builds a mean motor!
  17. Good deal, glad you got it figured out.
  18. That just seems like a huge pilot.... I run 52's or 55's on alky in a 39 mm carb.
  19. Hope to see you there.
  20. That is a bad arse cub motor there! Meanest cub I've ever heard of.
  21. I look forward to seeing yours as well JD. Shayne is correct. My entire immediate family and their families are going up for their first time, and we ended up getting some cabins. I would like to have the party! My parents are super cool and a blast to party with but we have several little ones w/us too.....I willl have to look into this...lol. We are right on Lake Michigan so I will let you guys know, it would be a blast. Anyway, I am very glad to see this many people are going! I look forward to seeing you all!
  22. I am aware of the race at WMSD. Will prolly stop and say hey Friday night, but is anyone going to the dunes?
  23. Silver Lake is one of my favorite places on earth. And yes, very addicting. I started riding my stockish bike there about 5 or 6 years ago, it has been a money trap ever since.
