  1. Modquad sells one that is shockingly similair to the one on my red bike...............I think it's what you are looking for.
  2. Good thing I just bought a set of Metal Tech drag a-arms...................I never thought about the warranty.
  3. I don't think Majic has a website at the moment. I suspect you are looking for something like the Boss manifolds. They have a website though I can't remember what it is. :geek:
  4. The White Knuckle unit is made by the same CNC shop that makes Cascade's parts. :geek:
  5. I would gamble on something like a crankshaft. That auction doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the quality of the product. :geek:
  6. They make small diameter nylock nuts that work great. Any specialty fastner house has them. :geek:
  7. Mr. Noss is the way to go for a head. Modquad is sort of the pirate of the ATV aftermarket industry.
  8. I got a good giggle out of that!
  9. I think it depends on which T-Rex set up you have. Call Racers Edge in Riverside, CA. They should get you setup.
  10. This is a great question. Brandon hits a major point here that given equal loading there would not be more parasitic loss. However, with a higher output unit, you have the potential to generate more power, thus you also have the potential to have greater parasitic loss. To keep this discussion as basic as possible, when broaching electromechanical issue such as this you always have to remember that there is no "free lunch." In any given system if you take out more, you have to put in more. This principle holds true for everything except robbing banks. My brain has sghut off for this evening so I can't come up with anything better than what I wrote. Professionally, I usually tip my hat to the electronics folks in the nerdery with their calculators for such issues as I am generally not the best source for such things.
  11. You'll have more luck with the Banshee engine anyway.
  12. Ask over on PS. There is a guy some folks know of that has used an RG500 and RD500 engines in Banshee style frames. If you wind up not doing this, let me know how much you want for the wrecked bike. I'll buy it in a heart beat if it has a title.
  13. The problem you have here is that dos is a word. However I think it is for the ESL crowd as it is the Spanish word for 2. :geek:
  14. I disagree. I think it is actually for a cable driven nut tugger. Really, I still the cases might be from an RZ or RD engine. If so, there should be a funny looking cable drive output on the top case half towards the rear (on Banshees this would have a permanent rubber plug in it). Does anyone remember how the oil injector pump was driven on the RZ's? I think it was through the waterpump, but I can't remember. :geek:
  15. That's what I was thinking. I think someone who was mechanically inclined enough to take the clutch cover off would figure out the coolant coming from a port near the gear may be by the water pump.
  16. I am going to borrow those when you're not looking the next time I am in the Big D and not running around with the girl I met who lives there.
  17. You can carry a concealed piston in CA. The permit process is overly complicated and widely unkown or misunderstood though. I had one for the years I was in SoCal. :geek:
  18. I think you have touched upon the key difference between MI and CA.
  19. I ate all my crayons and some mean kid took my coloring book. However, I did get the waitress at IHOP to give me a stroller for my one of my engineers that has been whining alot lately.
  20. Generally speaking, if your spark arrestors catch the attention of a legitimate law enforcement officer and they wind up not having the U.S.F.S Approved sticker or stamp on them, you can wind up in big trouble...................beyond just getting a ticket.
  21. http://westernenginesupply.com/ I asked around and found that these guys are ok.
  22. If you can post a picture of what you have and can make the shipping reasonable I am interested in it.
  23. Awww, I liked that Dynoport setup you had.
  24. I can't read.................
  25. Seriously, figure out the spelling thing. People are going to think you are retarded or an idiot because of it, even if you're not. :geek:
