  2. You could have an air leak which is causing the lean condition and the popping.
  3. Yeah, I think you are probably fine. New, dry seals can add alot of drag initially on a new engine assembly. :geek:
  4. Does the friction feel like something is binding, or just that the seals are dry and the rubber is dragging a bit? :geek:

  8. I bought a swingarm from sheerider1026 the part and the person far exceeded any expectation I had. Packaging and shipping was also fantastic. I could not be happier.
  9. I do mostly vehicle related stuff. I have not ever done it for a living, I just pinch hit a few times when needed. Mostly I am a hobbyist. :geek:

  11. You need to check ou Boring, OR........... Twister, Cascade, White Knuckle, Direct Drive, JJ&A all with in a mile of each other. I went out an made friends out there the second week I was in town. I have to go out to Cascade and do a bit of fooling around this Saturday, I might need to swing by Louie's house while I am out there. If anyone wants to tag along, they are more than welcome. Which reminds me I need to go see Jeff as well..........

  15. That's what I have. I used to have one of the Uvex/Optrel hoods, but the screen developed some weird lines in it so I returned it. :geek:

  17. Without knowing the anything about it spec.-wise, I would say it looks like a well done at-home clean up job.
  18. You could have had a gear take a dump or the spring that controls the gears runout break......... You have to take the clutch cover off to know for sure. :geek:

  25. That picture shows a piston to bore fitment problem. Either the piston was not the correct size for the bore or the bore was not machined to the correct dimensions for the piston. Technically speaking, there is no such thing as a cold seizure. Cold seizure is something that happens when a bore or piston is not the correct dimension in relation to each other, but is close enough to function relatively properly under normal circumstances. :geek:
