  1. It might need a turbo or it might not, I would have to work that out. The injection pump I have in mind is from a Kubota tractor. The bottom end would probably be ok. Diesel combustion done properly is usually alot less chaotic than gas engines these days.
  2. Cascade pretty much only sells dune oriented stuff. They are a direct dealer with Works and can get you anything you want. There is not a better place to buy parts from for sure.
  3. Wicked?
  4. You can't go wrong with NGK.
  5. They work for clearing the clutch arm with big carbs, but that's about it............
  6. He is just learning to read.......... that makes going through PM's and email alot harder.
  7. Word. I have some ideas for a diesel Banshee engine.............. if you're interested, start a thread about it and I will contribute. As a teaser: you would not even need new cylinders, just some waterpump area modifications and a few other things. I am not sure what I could get out of it for performance numbers, but I could easily beat OEM Banshee numbers. :geek:
  8. This generally correct, however if you had the fabrication and machine resoursces, anything is possible. :geek:
  9. I agree. :geek:
  10. Do a search in this forum. I think there are several lengthy threrads on this topic.
  11. eBay?
  12. Word.
  13. Methatnol is ethanol except with a different hydrocarbon string that incorporates methane. Ethanol and methanol can both make you go blind............ If you toss some fermaldhyde (spelled wrong I think) in there it makes for a great Saturday night in Wyoming.
  14. Word. Wiseco will give you prints for their product within reason if you call them. That TSR software is not really a replacement for actually knowing what you are doing though............... I am not sure that I am much of a fan of it. :geek:
  15. That's a good idea if the mill a DRO on it.
  16. Y'all need to try loc-tite thread sealant in stead of teflon tape (neither of my Pingel valves leak by the way). Otherwise penecilin will clear that drip right up.
  17. You get it from a trailer in the middle of the woods?
  18. Brandon answered most of your questions............ I think an optical comparator would be the easiest piece of pseudo percision measuring equipment to find. If you can't find one, you can make one by laying out a measured grid on a piece of butcher paper, hanging it level on a wall, then placing the part a precisely know distance from the wall, and finally putting a light source behind it. Once you get that done, you should be able to measure angles and disctances wit ha reasonable degree of accuracy (for what you are trying to do). :geek:
  19. You've got three choices for reverse engineering (using the engineering term loosely) the domes. 1.) Cut one in half and put it on an optical comparator. 2.) CMM machine. 3.) Make posite cast of the domes fire face and use traditional measing tools and/or an optical comparator. There are a few other really slutty options, but it sounds like you are trying to do a good job with this project.
  20. You want the plastic cage on the bearing balls facing outward towards the seal. It probably doesn't matter all that much either way though. :geek:
  21. I'll take the pegs. I decided I don't like the pegs on my blue bike. PM me your  Paypal address.
  22. I think someone did that onhere once, but I cannot find the thread............
  23. That sounds about right...........
  24. I have hill shooters...........
