  1. I was hoping Bada450r would chime in here at some point.......... I have a Phoenix trip coming up soon and will be tracking down Tommy. I have already decided that I am going to buy one at this point, I just need to figure what I want to do with it. I guess the stupid thing just interests me more than I can stand. :geek: :geek:
  2. Yeah, I just wanted to hear a variety of opinions about the stupid things since the are $500 new and I am having a hard time justifying that as something I will just buy to play with without ending up using it.
  3. I have recently become interested in the PVL ignition systems due to the fact that I am lazy (long story for another time). I understand that to run them on a larger Banshee style engine you have to have a good understanding of engine operating principles, which I think I can cover....... What I would really like to know is who uses them? Why did you choose to use one? What is the engine configuration you are using it on? What timing do you have it set at (static and operational curve)? What are the pros and cons of using one vs. a traditional CDI system vs. a Dyna CDI? ...........and yes I know this thread will probably win me the double nerd award. :geek: :geek:
  4. Yep. The dealer down the road from me still has 6 of them. I am about to go buy one just so I can say that I bought a new one.
  5. No mpre bumps from me.........
  6. Don't ask me.......... I make fun of those folks. Plus with the extended swingarms, all of a sudden the bike is pretty much worthless.
  7. What would you think about shipping it? Please send some pics to [email protected] .
  8. Bump for a great guy!
  9. If you zoom in, you can see one on one of my bikes. I apologive for not having a better picture in my photobucket.
  10. Can you post a picture of what you are talking about? I am not so familiar with Blaster engines.
  11. The reason something like that will eat rings is because the piston skirt is no longer evenly guided through most of it's travel. :geek:
  12. Word.
  13. The Fireball arms are nice as well, I just got a better deal on the Metal Tech arms. If I didn't have the Metal Teach arms, I would definietly have the Fireballs. :geek:
  14. I would go for 1.5 negative camber; 0 degrees toe; and 4 degrees of caster if you can get your arms to do it. :geek:
  15. Come on....... Some of you guys love chrome. Brian is selling this stuff at the going eBay price for non-chromed parts.

  18. I think Brian is just trying to clean out his garage.
  19. I have a set of Metal Tech arms on my blue bike. They are very nice, but the automotive tie rod ends they use are not the best. :geek:
  20. I am happy with a swingarm of theirs that I have.
  21. You kind of need to tell us a bit more about your setup....... What type of a-arms do you have, what size and typ of tyres do you run?................. :geek:
  22. For a Yamaha Banshee or RZ350 engine is what I was talking about...........
