  1. The FIS setup is something I am putting together. I'll let you know what it cost when I get done with the project, but I am figuring that I will be into it $1200 w/o any labor figured in.
  2. ........don't forget that you get the bracket with this too (you don't have to make one). I'll do $100 shipped. Let me know if that works fo ya.
  3. No thanks. I can get a single shoe off the side of the road and Bonbon already tried to hook me up with a box of wine.
  4. Spark plugs are one of my soap box items........ Properly functioning, spark plugs will not make you any more power........ I don't care who made them. It's one of those items that has been developed to top of it's performance potential and doesn't have much room to move ahead. The development room that is left with them is in robustness and longevity. With that said, the E3 plugs use the multiple ground strap scheme, which I like, and has been used very sucessfully in aviation and racing since the 1940's. The idea behind this is that you have a better oppotunity to have maximum spark performance through having more options than one for the path of least resistance. You also have less of a chance of having a misfire. The E3 plugs are not the only plugs on the market that use this design. Bosch has 2 and 4 strap plugs, while Splitfire has a forked single strap (I hate Splitfire plugs and wires as they were engineered to sell rather than to perform properly). The best thing you will see from these plugs is easier starting, more consistant spark related performance, and hopefully a longer plug life (nice to have in a two stroke). I don't know for sure what you will see with these plugs in a Banshee as I have not tested them. However, I do think that they are not as expensive as some of their competition and at their price point, they are worth a try. Let us know what you think of these things after you have run them for awhile.
  5. You can always PM me an offer..... I need to unload this stuff to offset the cost of throwing fuel injection on my red bike.
  6. 1997-2006 OEM CDI Ignition Box - Came off a low hour, running bike. - $80 + shipping. Nology Coil w/ custom bracket for OEM location and Nology Hot Wires - Came off of my red bike (obviously running). - $150 + shipping. As will all thing in life, prices are negotiable. Paypal is preferred.
  7. Chris is a smart guy, I am suprised he told you to do that......... I suspect he is assuming you are going to use Dyna with it's standard curves, and will not alter the programming yourself. The only way to change the base timing without reprogramming is with the plate.
  8. Word. I never had any trouble with one of these shift stars and I have owned may of them. I have owned atleast 6 of them. I also have never heard of anyone having a problem with them that was actually caused by the star itself. The Cascade star is one of the best bang for the buck transmission mods out there.
  9. 10w-40 runs about 160F in a hot, hard working engine and Type F ATF is around 150F. What are you working on?
  10. I have quite a bit of data on this. What kind of oil are you running?
  11. The Dyna is the way to go, but as others have said, you need to put the time in to get everything out of it. If you don't already have an adjustable timing plate, don't buy one if you are getting a Dyna as you can digitally tune the Dyna to replicate anything a plate could do for you.
  12. They are / were a pretty big dealership / aftermarket parts source in SoCal. They probably come in second place behind Trinity in notoriety down there.
  13. 4 of us are going to Sandlake tomorrow if anyone's interested. We'll be parked in the main paved lot. My red and blue bike will both be there (hard to miss the red one).
  14. If it's true............ It's about time. The folks at that place could screw up a fart.
  15. What kind of oil are you using? What kind of clutch do you have? Have you been working on anything under the clutch cover?
  16. Apparently, photobucket does not allow linking to it......... ? http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii280/f...DC10784mod1.jpg
  17. WTF is that good for? I mean, if I have a 20mil DMX in an OEM bike, I would not be able to make it past 3rd gear in a reasonable distance. :ermm:
  18. Use some 3M thread sealant on the threads and a copper washer under the nut. If it's possible to seal it, that will do it.
  19. Email me the pic and I can get it posted up. If you need any additional test bikes, I can probably organize a few folks in the Portland, OR area.
