  1. Word. Gasoline fuels are made up of complex carbon chains, which equals lots of molecules. There is no such thing as molecular reconstruction in your fuel tank, but you make get some chain degredation or realigning. :geek:
  2. Bad idea. :geek:
  3. CottoneyedJoe had some marital issues and was busy trying to fire up a new shop. I haven't talked to him for awhile. Meat is still on here. Ledofthezep still rides and showed up on here a little while ago. Minkia is still around..................parting out Banshees. BenBB is also still around.
  4. That's funny right there.......... I don't care who you are.
  5. I think I must have mis-read one of your previous posts with regard to the dynos.
  6. Who's Superflow are you going to (GP's?)? In my opinion, you can't really go into any dyno with the mindset that a dyno is going to read less than another dyno. The Superlfow hardware is probably closer to being correct, and if you are truely using the bike as a tunign aid, then it really doesn't matter what hp or torque the dyno says you made. If you can tune the engine to the point that you cannot make any more changes to increase the engines torque or hp output, then you got done, what you needed to get done. The dyno could give you numbers in the units of cocoa puffs for all that it matters as long as it is accurate, repeatable, andconsistant in it's measurings of cocoa puffs. :geek:
  7. Yeah, sorry, that what I was getting at: Driveshaft off of the sprocket output shaft. I laike that better than dealing wit hthe hysteresis of the chain on the chassis dyno. Some of tech.'s at work don't seem to like that I have recently, not been removing the engine from the frame to get on the engine dyno. I made a rack to mount the quad sideways in front of the absorber, which the process of getting the quad on seems to get sand on the floor (which I clean up). :ermm:
  8. Try Cascade Innocations or www.bikebandit.com.
  9. Have you ever used anything else? :geek:
  10. The power is measured at the PTO...... and it's on CPI In-frames on a type of gas (may not be what you're thinking). :geek:
  11. Bid away.............. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/merchant/fireh...armrsZ1QQ_fromZ
  12. I agree with some of that, but the Dynojets are crappy dyno's........... They are either a friction brake or inertia brake design, their instrumentation is crappy, and their repeatability is poor. On top of that, they due not have the ability to hold a sustained load at a given RPM for any reaqsonable amount of time. I don't think it really comes down to manufacturer's claims.........Dynojet make the crappiest mainstream dyno package on the market.
  13. I was looking for that sheet...............
  14. I agree. That particular statement is usually the preclusion to finding out that someone has no idea what they are talking about.
  15. I am not really sure what you are questioning.......... That is nothing special by any means, but it definitely is good, and I cannot exactly repeat the run, so I got a little lucky. I can repeat a ~115hp run though.
  16. No, Jeff is still using SAE hardware unless you ask for something special.
  17. Word. That is the best deal if you don't already have a dial indicator with a mag base. :geek:
  18. You need to tell us a bit about your bike and what sort of riding you do inorder for us to help.
  19. JJ&A is the only way to go................ Beware of used LSR axles as their splines fade away over time. :geek:
  20. Your FOD seems like it might be the circlip that holds the coolant inlet tube in place................... I can't really tell how big it is.
  21. That's one of the healthiest stock stroke cubs I've seen...... I'm impressed, especially since that run was not on some d-bag's DynoJet. My 4mil cub's best run is only 8hp more than that.
  22. Mine are ok too........
  23. Word.
  24. The grounds would be better off on cylinder head studs. :geek:
  25. I think there is probaby a reducer bushing in the joints you have. I am not aware of there being 3/8"x5/8" heims being a stocking item anywhere.
