  1. I can model the thing and cook up some prints if you want to take your ideas into a stahe of devekopments where we could get quotes from a job shop to get them machined. :geek:
  2. That's pretty much accurate.
  3. Yes and Yes........ that's all I run. You need to change it more than other types of oil, but if you run in the sand, you need to do that anyway. :geek:
  4. I have several models and turn/mill programs for drums.... Y'all are welcome to them if you want 'em. I think they can be cut and out of some pretty cheap metal, carbnurized, and half-assed ground, while still being better than anyone else in the industry. :geek:
  5. Do you have any idea what the life span of a normal, heated element, close band O2 sensor in a piston port two stroke engine...... Not very long. I think most of what folks are doing with Banshee FIS is open loop (non-feedback style). In this case, the only inputs would be TP, MAP, RPM, and possibly clutch in/out or vehicle speed.
  6. Go to Wiseco's website and pu;l up the bore and piston spec.'s out of their catalog.
  7. You also should mention that you also got rid of your front brakes..... :ermm:
  8. It depends on how slutty your foot pegs are........... If they have big, ugly, welds where the peg attaches to its bracket, you might need to grind the peg a bit.
  9. Word. You need to have a bore gauge or a proper ID micrometer.
  10. It depends on if what y'all are doing with the arm......... For all around riding the Cascade units are great, but you pay for it. Quicksand, Twister (Lou Jr.), and Fireball make some good stuff as well.
  11. Rich Christensen is is one of biggest tools in the automotive media personality arena. Next to Jeremy Clarkson, Rich is the next person in line that I want to kick in the crotch if I ever meet them in person.
  12. I would got the the Frieghtliner or Volvo website and check out their new models. Porbably the model of interest on the Freightliner site would be the Cascadia.
  13. The way I see it, most heavy truck manufacturers are moving to fewer, more automitive -like, lines of truck with house branded engines. All that means that there is more commonality across platforms. No one does a very good job of putting together any sorts of resonable aftermarket parts for heavy trucks that I am awayre of. Most of what is available are lights and chromed OEM'ish parts. One could take a que from the pickup truck aftermarket immediatly establish a market presence with $300 or less parts that add billet or style to a heavy truck. Billet door handles, knobs, covers, and chassis dress items would sell pretty well, especially if they can fit a multitude of applications. Another area that is not approached very well is aftermarket performance items for heavy trucks. Most guys only do exhaust and high hp/torque factory fuel map since there is not much available. Air Filters and intake components could sell well, especially if they reminded folks of aftermarket car parts. That's just my $.02
  14. I think he was saying he would pay that if he had to.............. I am pretty sure that is not what he actually paid for them.
  15. Trinity makes one line of stainless pipes, but the are more T5-like with regard to performance. I would much rather like to see something CPI'ish. I never thought about a solid gold toilet being in an OPEC country..... Maybe I'll have to see if I can find one there. However, that is certainly a long way for me to go inorder to shop off the monkey tail.
  16. I'd like to see some better aftermarket doo-dahs for semi-trucks........... No one in the NAFTA market does a very good job in this area and with trucks becoming more standardized and car-like, there may be an opportunity there. I'd also like to see some stainless steel in-frame Banshee expansion chambers............ but I would also like a solid gold toilet. I don't think I will ever see either one.
  17. Word......... and they probably cost 60% of that to manufacture. I just wish they still made the heel guards that go with them.
  18. That sounds pretty close........ I think the last time this was discussed with Kevin, the pricing only included the hardware and the owner would have to come up with their own charging system. :geek:
  19. That shop would be owned by Kevin Gigot and is called GP performance. I think he is retailing them for around a grand. I could put a setup like this together myself, but it would cost about what GP wants for their Motec based setup. The hard ware is not really the problem with this issue, it's the tuning and development. Most of the folks with the exception of MRD and GP would be better off selling a spray bottle with gas in it.........
  20. I would be more than happy to talk to you about your trans. needs as well. Cascade is also a pretty big name in the trans. mod game. Roller bearing: http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/ne...ore_dept_id=165
  21. Keep in mind, Jared has two 10mil's to talk about.................. The cub is probably more relevant to this thread. The Twister pretty much has everything under the sun done to the trans. :geek:
  22. I do what I can to help...............
  23. Do you know what kind of mods Bonbon has had done while he was turning into a transvestite? :ermm:
  24. I have pretty much accepted the fact that I am leaving that place with atleast $1000 less in my bank account every time I go out there........... I have had a couple of my bikes in the area around their showroom, next their bikes and my stuff doesn't quite make much of a comparison.
  25. I never had a problem with Trinity when I dealt with them in person when I lived in SoCal. However, I only bought parts from them and did not have them work on anything i owned. On occasion, we would hire some of their machinists away from them........., but most everyone I talked to that worked there was some for of retarded. I think they turn over phone sale people there pretty quickly, so who knows what you are going to get.
