  8. I want some DDI billet grips. I hear they arent that bad as long as you are wearing a decent pair of gloves.
  9. take a few measurements of some key areas on the pipes, and then compare them with a set at your local dealer. thats a pretty good way to tell. or take some pics of them and postem up. we should be able to tell you if they are CPI's or not.
  10. ok, race gas does not come in any premix. it is a more pure less combustible form of regular gas. RG comes in various levels of octane. much like what you see at the pump, but instead of seeing number slik 87, 89, 91, 93, youll see 101 100 110 105 and higher. these higher numbers resist predetonations (this is what caused the little marks on the tops of your pistons) from running too high of a compression ratio in your motor. so when i said mix with VP Red i meant take 2.5 gallons of 91 octane reguler, umixed fuel, and put it in a can. Then put 2.5 gallons of Red in the same can and shake it up. the two fuels will mix together and the octane ratings (91 and 105) should average to 98. **AFTER you have mixed them then ADD your premix oil.** VP red is a 105 octane fuel made my Vp fuels and is reasonable at 4-5 per gallon. However if you do get your coolhead you may not need this because, depending on which domes you choose, your compression could be lower. As for a head, i have a Pro Design head and i like it. Some like the Noss head, other like the RK tek. The PD and the noss are 265, while the RK is like 350.
  11. my soph. year some seniors, farmers, piler manure around the whole school. i mean tons of this shit. smelled like a barn for the whole week.
  12. word. i dont need a 4 per day habit.
  13. boon's goin balls to the wall on his rig. yeah i too would skip on the 18's, those super duty rims look pretty cool for bein factory gear. gauges are an excellent idea. might slip that on to the wifey christmas is around the corner.........
  14. spike when you rebuild be sure to run a good race fuel, doesnt have to be anything oxygenated or super high octane. just like VP red or something, and mix it 50/50 with regular pump gas. and what type of head are you running? also even if you had static compression of 170 if you are ported that will also alter the number somewhat, so tell us if your ported or not also.
  15. ceramic coating isnt real good for 2 stroke pipes. it holds heat in real well, which works great on race cars, but not on banshees.
  16. with that kinda money im thinkin along the lines of a douglas skater and a leer.
  17. i would imagine its something like what you said mrmatt. probably just cause one helmet to crack in a batch of a million, so they put the warning on there. to know for sure call a reputable paint shop, not home depot, and see what they say about it weakening plastic. or whatever the shells are made of.
  18. their stuff is wicked. anyone know how much a set of the arms are?
  19. hmmm, seems as though i might have some late nights on limewire ahead of me.
  20. check your compression, it should be around 120-125. also if the sides are more than 10% (12lbs) off of each other you need a rebuild. and if your comp is good, look to the stator.
  21. ummm, i think that would one hell of a long shot. maybe you just needed tighter carb clamps.
  22. thats some funny shit.
  23. that cause those are gimmicks. dont even waste your time.
  24. shit, youll appreciate those when it gets below 45* haha
