Not to steal your thread but, what is the least amount of weight the flywheel can be? If it's 44oz after taking material off that's not that light. It's probably the way it's designed but, why do banshee's need that much weight? They fire every 180 degrees of the crank rotationg. But the yfz flywheel weighs 26oz with a negative flywheel. It fires every720 degrees of rotation. If you put a yf crank and flywheel then they only weigh 19oz. I'm ignorant compared to alot of people on here about banshee's but this just doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone explain this to me. thanks.

Essentially what a long rod does is lower the angle of the rod and piston. It relives the stress of the wrist pin. It moves the wrist pin higher on the piston and more towards the center on the crank. Not for sure about the crank part though. What a stroker crank does is exactly what it says it does, it strokes. For a stroker crank you have to get a plate. 4mm stroker would require a 2mm plate.My question is though so u have to put a gasket inbetween the case and plate, then another above the plate and below the jug?

Alright, i know i'm stupid for asking this cause i think i know the answer but i want one from the people who actually own the quad. Do 2-stroke have any major draw backs to them. Yea you have to rebuild them more, but it's a lot easier to do. Is it true that you always have to work on them? I'm realy wanting a shee. But dad believes 2-strokes suck b/c suposedly you have to work on them all the time. It can't be that bad otherwise nobody would want to own one. Please give info. Hi, I'm new to bansheehq. I've reading up on all the information that is on this sight. I don't own a shee right now, but i plan to in the near future. Anyways i've read the testimonials from the single carb people and the ones from bigger dual carb people. My question is on 370 or 400 stroker, why couldn't you use a 39mm Fcr, or a 44mm Mikuni?
