I want to look for some heim joints for a project im going to do later this year. bd's right. to remove that nut you need a special tool or some hardware and a welder. a member here sell the tool on his website. www.dunedevilinc.com you can either buy that or weld some hardware together to make a ghetto type socket. the diamtere of the hex is 30mm. so anything in a hex form of that size will work. take note though that sometimes they are not easy to remove. mine required thermal persuasion. give it a good douse of some penetrating lube and let it set for a while, then go after it with a vengence. good luck.

i like the GM's (you should really consider one, IMO) and the Fords. a powerstroke is one of the only two fords id ever buy (the other is a lightning ). Sd's look really cool, but so do the chevys. a lot of guys here have superdutys for tow rigs and that they do very well. not sure about how the chevys tow, but i see them used a ton in the oilfield as company trucks so they must do ok too. the newer autos are nice, especially chevys Allison, those are sweet. the 3.73 will get you better gas milage, but im unsure as to how much. good luck and happy hunting.

mod quad sells some socket cap screws for both sidecovers that are pretty trick. real reasonable too. rockymountainatv.com also has them.

geckos blow. sandstars are the way to go for sure. not as much hook as a hauler, but they are only like 56 bucks. haulers are 89 i think.
