  1. thats what i thought he was describing, an internal snap ring. guess not though.
  2. so put the axle in a vice and now you can use that impact.
  3. what happened?
  4. i thought you meant remove it from the carrier, but you want to remove the carrier it self. if you have remove those two bigass nuts ( ) then whack the axle with a BFH and see if that doesnt free it up. but remember to place the castle nut on the axle or youll fuck up the threads.
  5. oh yeah, a big fat impact will do the trick. if you dont have shop air, get about a 3 foot piece of pipe (steel) and slip it over the end of your ratchet. thatll give you the leverage you need.
  6. im unsure of what youre talking about, but if they are what im thinking you can use a few things. 1 is a set of snap ring pliers. another is a sharpened set of needle nose pliers, or some dental picks. the pliers work the best. but any of those can be used.
  7. whats wrong with diesel?
  8. a lot of the custom chopper builders these days are running an air setup. maybe you could derive a little info from them. but i doubt the shocks could be used since they ride like shit.
  9. thats how i convinced my parents. little do they know...........
  10. no shit. wish other things were that cheap also.
  11. you loser. in three weeks ill be doing a triple backflip in the samd.
  12. shit. today i walked into a restaurant and it was 65, walked out and it was 40.
  13. hey matt, try this website. cable
  14. true, it seems like honda has beter technology than yamaha. but yamaha's stuff is always faster. oh well, only fairies need wings. Im down with the tuning forks for sure!
  15. Yamaha uses the shittiest hardware available. honda uses light weight stuff thats strong. but yami uses awfullfy weak steel that likes to strip and break. anyone know why?
  16. thanks guys. tyler i guess we'll have to take some shots or somethin at LS on spring break. fuck it, lets get fuuuuuckin wasted.
  17. im puzzled, you own a banshee and think its a pig. so you plan to buy a suzuki of all things to make fast? maybe you should put that three grand into an A&S alcohol setup ( ) and see if you dont have a running mother fucker at the end of the day.
  18. now thats fuckin funny
  19. hmm, i guess i didnt read the instructions on mine. i pitched that shit. to mod the boots i used an X-acto knife and a steady hand.
  20. ooo, ok, my bad. if they are sealed, leave them that way. no packing is necessary of a sealed bearing.
  21. ive never stolen one, and never will. i know that cause its my job to unwrap and build them. so of course i know which are easiest to build.
  22. steal a polaris, to get them out of the crate all you have to do is remove the shrink wrap, and remove a hitch pin to fold down one side of the crate. do drive it you have to have gas, and a 10mm wrench for the battery which is already filled and ready to go. super easy to do. not that ive ever stolen one though, cause they suck shit.
  23. for those who dont want to choke down the $550ish price tag of full bores, try paying retail on some factory plastic. i saw an invoice for a customer today that had purchased complete body plastic for his raptor. he wanted to change from blue to the new urban camo scheme for his '02. for all of the plastic, new hardware, and stickers the price was just shy off $1075.00. kind of makes those things seem reasonable now, huh?
  24. they arent sealed, youre thinking or ball bearings. these are needle, and therefore unsealed so no special tools i needed. for the steering,i think you may have to go to the factory for that one......
  25. thats a good point about the colors not matching. guess ill have to spring for the full price damnit.
