You can get around the dunes on pretty much any tire, riding near the beach on wet/packed sand is fine. you just wont be nearly as fast as a bike with paddles on the dryer/looser sand.

Have you checked out any used Polaris Scramblers? I think those are 250's. Thems tight.

Have your flywheel lightened while you have it off. I believe that there are a few members on here that can do it for you, BOONMAN did mine. Maybe throw in a case saver. those were two things that i wish that i would have done the first time i had it apart. AGUITA: you will need a flywheel puller

Thats cool. The outback is an area in the back of the campground where you can take up as much room as you want. You pay per person, I really simplifies things, plus all the extra space is nice too.

Dusty D's 2748 Pine River Rd. Standish, MI 48658 Take I-75 North to exit 190 (M-61). Go about 4.5 miles east on M-61 (M-61 will change to Pine river rd) You will pass through town and the property will be on your left. It is kind of hidden but look for a red barn, pull in the driveway and stay to the left. *If you see the golf course, you went too far. YES there is a dragstrip! The property used to be a grass airstrip, so the dragstrip is straight and flat. total property is about 500 acres, and there are trails and jumps, etc.

You might need a set of plugs, which are not expensive. Change the oil once or twice, keep the chain lubed and the air filters clean, and thats about it. Figure in the cost of fuel and premix too. If the bike is tuned right, and the cylinders/pistons/rings are in good condition, yearly maintenance will be very low. Banshee's dont REQUIRE alot of work, but if they are setup wrong, they can be a pain. To put a $$ value........i'm not really sure. Compared to the cost of the bike and the mods, it is virtually nothing.

Do you have the TORS on your bike? Did you check your compression? Clean the carbs. Did you use fresh gas?
