  1. I have the pegs. PM me if you are still looking for some.
  2. I have a NOSS cool head, and the specs are the same, 20 ft. lbs. Be sure to tighten it down in incriments.
  3. Not my bike with the blown trans, but i talked to those guys later that night. The blue banshees were in our group. Stock wheelbase bikes were mine and my brothers. mine has PC pipes, my brothers has FMF. The other blue banshee has a 6" extended swingarm, thats my buddy's bike. He had 18" MX tires on that bike and we ended up swapping for my tires later in the day, made a huge difference. Planning on making another trip up to Dusty's soon.
  4. I know what you are talking about. I slid min all the way up and clamped it, but it slid back down. You will be O.K. as long as you can get the clamp on it above the flange on the end of the cool head.
  5. IMO I wouldnt pay the money to ride the indoor track in tecumseh, its not worth it, too small. Its called Pro Source, have ridden it a couple times. I was up a Dusty D's last weekend too, dajogejr did i see you there? For the MDS pig roast? Dusty is a cool guy and has some nice land to ride on. Had lights for the drag strip and all. Anyways, I am a SE Michigan rider too, so keep posted when you guys plan a ride. I am just North of Detroit myself.
  6. Depending on your conditions, you may not want to pull the entire thing off. Like white trash said, pulling the lid off will help. and leaving the bottom on will give you some splash protection. What ever you decide, just remember that your bike will not like water on the filters or in the carbs. the slides will stick, the bike will either bog or throttle may stick. The key to it all is to stay dry. Removing the lid will , most likely, require some jetting adjustments. What type of air filter is on your bike?
  7. Im not exactly sure. I think that the guy was just doing it as a joke and any $$$ is supposed to go to an animal shelter.

  16. Supposed to rain Sat. morning, but clear up by mid-day. Oh well, I am going no matter what. Bikes are all loaded and ready to roll. If you are not gonna make it, there's always next time.
  17. We had a couple guys back out, but we are still going. Will be there late tommorow, staying at the state park.
  18. Am pretty sure that the pic came from someone here at the HQ. Tried searching for it. Possibly "Sheeya"s? Anyone else see it and recognize it?
  19. Southeast MI here, but I ride all over. You could try www.michigandirtslingers.com Where do you live/ride?

  21. I know that this topic has been posted before. Want to get some opinions. I have read that there is a spring that can be removed which will reduce stiffness in the throttle. I was considering buying the longer thumb throttle as well. 1. Who has removed the spring in the throttle housing? Does this give a noticeable difference? Any problems? (throttle more likely to stick?) 2. Who has the longer thumb throttle? How much difference will i notice with this? Like this one ----> http://64.62.162.3/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=TT1-1 3. Any other recommendations, parts, or mods that I should consider? Thanks.
  22. My air box is made by "UM". Had to drill drian holes in it. ---> http://www.moto-man.com/catpages/details.pg?item_num=@42 My brother has one made by a company called "CFM" different style utilizing to small K&N pod filters. ---> http://www.cfmracing.com/fullsizeimg/banshee-airbox.jpg I think that the UM is alot easier to install
  23. I like LBZ pants.
  24. Me and my group will be in the state park. You are welcome to join. I am not sure how many sites we are getting, probably 4 or 5. We have about 20 people going. If you are gonna be there, let me know when you will be getting there. I will be getting there on Friday night, but there will be at least 4 people there Thursday night or Friday morning. I can direct you towards our sites.
