  1. 280's with the lid on should be close. My bike was lean with 280's and NO lid. I also put in bigger pilot jets when i put on the PC's.
  2. Sorry to hear of that, hope everything turns out ok.
  3. I like beer, It makes me a jolly good fellow. I like beer, It helps me unwind and sometimes makes me feel mellow, (makes him feel melllloooooowwwww...) Whiskey's too rough, Champagne cost too much, and vodka puts my mouth in gear. This little refrain should help me explain, As a matter of fact, I like beer. (he likes beer) -Tom T. Hall anyone else heard that song? I think its great. By the way, I voted Bud Light, Yum.
  4. Maybe shes one of those born again Virginians.
  5. Figured that there should be a place for Silver Lake info to be posted. Post any dates you are going, info on park, new rules, anything. Also, do we want to start throwing out possible dates for a HQ trip? I plan on being at the dunes the weekend of Apr. 29 to May 1 for my first trip of the year.
  6. I have stock silver fronts off my '03 with stock tires. Tires have no holes or gouges and hold air, plenty of tread left. Rims in excellent shape, minimal scratching around outside ring, not bent or dinged up. Make offer. Can see them in my pics in the gallery.
  7. A compression tester and some plug chops. The answers which you seek lie within the confines of the BansheeHQ, all that and more await you.................................... just playin around man. Members on here know banshees inside and out. anything you would ever need is all here.
  8. I think im going nuts......
  9. I feel your pain bro.
  10. I am pretty sure that a banshee will STOMP them, but just to make sure, here is how you find out.... 1. Get them to line up next to you for a drag race. 2. Pin the throttle and shift gears. 3. At end of track shut the bike off, take off helmet. (By the time you get it off, the other bikes should just about catching up to you.) 4. Lean over and ask them what they think about your bike. Here is what you will find out..... they probably got a bad start, or maybe missed a shift, blah blah blah, offer them a rematch. If the rematch is accepted, repeat steps 1-4 until you have thoroughly proved to them that a banshee will hand their four-strokin' asses a whoopin' any time they want.

    Sprocket

I have my stock 14 tooth that i replaced with a 15 after about a season.........
  12. In Michigan too, mods in sig. In my opinion, just from reading what your mods are, sounds like you are small on your mains. I burnt up my first top end from being too lean when i was running 280's but i have open air box. Where are you at in Mich.? I found a place that will dyno run and tune for $60/hr (shouldnt take more that an hour if your jetting is close). I think its a good price for the piece of mind i'll get when i know that my jetting is dialed in properly.
  13. New air filter, Mod airbox lid, or remove it. New reed petals, Dont forget to rejet. Advance timing +4. Tear off the TORS. If you dont use it... remove parking brake too. What not to do ---> Boost bottle, reed spacers. these are cheap, but unecessary mods
  14. PM'ed you. have a sale pending, will let you know if it falls through.
  15. All tires have 95%+ tread left, hold air, rims have no dents or major scratching.... 21x12x8 Mud Sharks on steel blaster rims (can be separated) Stock front rims and tires off '03 Banshee (can be separated) Stock rear tires off '03 Banshee (tires only) Pics available, post or PM with offers.
  16. Stock banshee, look forward to alot of modifications! Use the search feature, and ask questions. People on here know what they are talking about and can help you with everything related to your shee. Welcome to the HQ.
  17. Me too. I would snag some of those shirts up.
  18. I've got the craftsman too. Works good for me!
  19. I say go for it, you wont have any problems. Also, have your flywheel lightened while it is off.
  20. My girlfriend went on a snake hunt last night..........................she found one and we "partied".
  21. What elevation are you riding at? just curious, 360 mains sound big.
  22. my mods are listed in my signature, similiar to yours, at sea level. I had 320's in for awhile after my first rebuild (i didnt wanna run lean again) 320's were definately rich, bought some 310's but havent ridden it yet. I would say that you need 300's in stock carbs, maybe bigger, that will give you a starting point anyway.
  23. Keep an eye on your gear lube just to be safe. My guess would be that it is just unburned mixture. If the O-rings are bad on your pipes, it will blow oil all over the place. what does everyone else think?
