Maybe your just out of adjustment. open up the right side and play with the screw. I have a similar problem with my shifter. Although mine usually sticks in 3rd-4th, and will only allow me to shift between those two gears. My problem lies in the shifting mechanism next to the clutch. where the shifting rod comes thru the engine out the other side....right by the clutch. Once mine sticks I have to open her up and adjust the adjustment screw. then shee is fine untill the next time it locks up. I race ... and it usually happens when Im triple shifting. once shee gets nice and warmed up....seems like the metals in there start bending or something. I have no clue. but I wish I had permanent fix. Maybe your just out of adjustment. open up the right side and play with the screw. I have a similar problem with my shifter. just found out about a MX race WGAS Motorsports is putting on tonight at the Grass Valley fair. Entry fee is 10 dollars...no membership required. free parking, free admission to the fair, and free admission to the show. good deal. I going to go show off then get my beer buz on. should be a good time. I will be in the pits on my shee. Black F150 Supercrew. Yellow shee....number 131. Cuz 13 is number 1. LOLz.

Elka is obviously seeing the money Precision is making and decided to jump on the market. I dont think I would change out my GPR. Now that I have used it in many races, and several rides, I have become used to changing it on the fly. Being able to adjust it from one extreme to the other is ideal in desert racing. Considering you have no idea what your terrain is going to be. I see they also bumped the price up to 545. precision raised the bar with their 500 price. the next company to bring one out will be for 585.

I was going to suggest just having brooke come on this thread and say something....that will get CHASE on here in no time. I can tell they have a really nice relationship. HAHAHHAHA

I race and I love it. I think about this sort of thing all the time. I have a beautifull wife and two kids ages 3 and 5. No way would I want to be in this situation. But will I .... Can I stop racing. No way. I should have stopped years before I even got on one. LOL....cuz then I never would have felt the air in my hair. Tell ya what tho. My sister broke her back slipping on ICE in the middle of the winter carrying her baby girl. My brother in law broke his back on a wave runner in Mexico, and my dad broke his back falling off the moblie home and landing on a planters can full of nuts and bolts. So you tell me. how would you like to break your back. I for one will take ROUND 2 of the NATIONALS any day. Only a select few get that far.....and I bet JJ will be back racing in a few years. just like everyone else that hurts themselves and gets better. Now....my sister is ALOT more carefull....my brother in law doesnt get on waverunners any more...and that was the last moblie home we owned. LOL. But ....break something on an ATV......and not get back on....I dont think so! I hope and pray that I have a long life and die of natural causes, but if accidents are going to happen.....my wish may not happen. so live life and enjoy it! My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours JJ. hoping for a speedy recovery. another thing....if you watch the video....you will see a red quad strike the blue quad...which straightenes out and catches the rear of the yellow quad....it then flips hitting JJ and causing him to go under the quads. some of you are screamin at yellow and he was the second guy in the pileup. JJ was number 4. two more guys then run into them. nasty damn crash. I suggest like others have..... shorten the holeshots.....instead of 5th gear first corner's you will have 3rd or 4th gear...and maybe not so much damage will occur.

Ya you got the hookup. I am using Pinnacle software. If you buy the Pinnacle vid kit, it comes with a hub that you can hookup all kinds of gadgets too. then it has a usb coming out of it that goes to your PC. I have been converting all my tapes to DVD using it. Also i tape TV programs ect. Playboy is where it all started. LMAO.

dont forget their pistons....again wiseco knockoffs. I need a crank......cant beleive I have to buy a new one and then have it welded. what a crock of shit. kinda like the new zuki 450's. spend 8 grand only to have a rear shock up your ass after a few months of hard riding. and their answer......get it welded before it breaks.

I burnt thru a diggers in one season. I am now running a Toomey clutch. so far so good. running 3 stock springs and 3 aftermarket. hooks up good. do a search on here .... some guys use a streetbike clutch in theirs. and they swear by them.

Im interested in the wear as well. I cant keep a set under me for more than 4 races. once they hit 50% tread they are on EBAY. even more so.....how do those MX6's trek?

My machinest talked me into Pro-X's. I brought my top end to him to get done, I even brought along some wiseco's pro lite's. LOL>>>He wouldnt put them in. said he didnt want to be re-doing his work every year. That was two race season's ago. and mind you I race desert. He told me that Pro-X is the only manufacturer that uses stock specs. He was also saying that in order for them to be a stock replacement part, they need to undergo extreme testing, and their specs have to "match or better" the stock parts. Basically was telling me that they are better than stock because of the rigors they have to go thru in order to call them factory replacement parts. Anyway, he said stock and wiseco suked.....pro-x was the one. He also said that Vito's was a modified wiseco lite piston. HE was saying that they take a pro-lite and shave a piece off...and call it thiers. Im no pro....but I listen to the pro's. I had 145 PSI when I got my new top end. 8 desert races, 3 XC races, and a sheetload of practicing later...I am at 138 PSI. I should be doing the rings right now...but I am being lazy. my machinest tole me to change the rings when I noticed a 1 pound difference. I think thats a little obsesive.

You guys are talking about the belts that dudes wear to work in. the weight belts. these are for riding. and you will notice a huge difference once you have one. After a few hours riding, take it off. You can feel your insides drop a couple inches. I too have the 661 jacket. Its awesome. Ventilated well, built well, and comfortable. BUt I havent wrecked in it yet. That will be the ultimate decision factor.

I run a purty nice XC setup. im 50", and I have to adjust my lonestar's to run the track. I have a stock swinger...and she is real hard on me on the track. but in the desert, shee is one to recon with. the TCS's are a dream....yet I have yet to run elkas. I also run 22" rear tires and 23" fronts, and without the width shee was hard as hell to keep on all fours. Once I got the +4 on her, man shee treaks like a car. Also .... antivibe steering stem with a gpr stabalizer is freakin awesome. those along with tag2 fat bars have taken away all my arm pump. I can run 4 hours staight and get off my quad and do pushups. the 500 for the dampner is well worth the change. the gpr is adjustable on the fly. and when Im running desert races, I change that bad boy from a 2 in the rock gardens to an 8 in the straights. and when its on 8 I can take my hands off the bars and shee treaks in a straight line. try that on a 150 dollar dampner at 90 miles an hour.

interested in rear hubs and front spindals. price shipped to 95670

wow....not one rider on here has ever used these eh? guess I will be going used stock. just as strong and last just as long.

anyone use dura bend's hubs? says they are aluminum with steel inserts. my question is how long does it take for that insert to come out of the aluminum? I have spun thru my second set of Lonestar Aluminum Hubs and need something stronger. I most likely will go stock, but Im trying to find some chromoloy or titanium hubs for the shee. alba has titanium ones for 350-380. somthing like that. but that seems lik an awful lot o cash. whats your 2 cents?
