  1. This bike has it all- the handling of a J arm frame banshee the power of a 250cc 4 stroke the styling of blue warrior rear fenders
  2. the crank is seized, i bought a KX 65 a while ago that was in the same situation. It suprised me how good everything else was, no damage to the cylinder or cases, just the crank was shot and it could of probally needed a new piston. I would expect yours to be similar, mine wouldnt turn over untill i put a little bit of oil in the bottom end, then i was able to turn it over a little then it got stuck again, you could see how hot the crank got with all the discoloring on it.
  3. haha, i have one on my old phone. Im not sure if its there anymore, but on here there was a downloads sections and there was a sound clip of a banshee revving, like 2 years ago i took it and uploaded it to a ringtone site and they made it into a ringtone, it cost 25 cents to download, ill see if i can find it, it sounds great on my phone, loud as hell!!
  4. Sounds like a great idea! Hell, if yamaha doesn want you using the name banshee, just call it a shee!
  5. I dont know what your talking about, the kxf 450 is a very fast and powerfull machine. Kawasaki can definally pull off the best 450 quad, well just have to see what happens
  6. Ill trade you a 02 blaster straight up, if necissary ill throw in a happy meal but i keep the superman toy
  7. Any idea on what brand the arms are?
  8. damn, 5 weeks for idle screws? that took me like 30 minutes to put on! It sounds like there is some serious damage there, assuming your bottom end is seized since your flywheel is not moving, it could cost you anywhere from $800-1500 to overhaul the motor yourself which includes all new seals, bearings, pistons, crank, gaskets, etc depending on what else is broken too. What a shop would charge you i cant say, but it wont be pretty!
  9. you run the risk of warping the bottom of the cylinder due to the uneven torque on it. You may be able to get thicker studs to put in there, even better you can just get a helicoil for it. I persoanlly would not run it like that and risk damaging the engine, you got to do it right the first time!!
  10. I changed the plugs becasue it was about time they should be changed, they have been on there for about 50,000 miles and i figured i would just do them now. The old plugs were all white on the tips with some spots of bring yellow on some. Whats this mean? I know on a banshee its not good!
  11. has already fucked an animal and a man
  12. i cleared the code, drove it 70 miles, and just took it to inspection yesterday. It passed Light didnt come back yet so i dont know what it was, all i did was change the spark plugs but that wouldnt cause the error code as far as i know.
  13. If you part it out soon im intrested in the arms, let me know if you decide to go that way
  14. can you send me some pics of the quicksand arms? especially the spot were the chrome is chipping, is it the top or bottom arm? Thanks alot!!
  15. you dont need them at all, i had them on my bike then my brother borowed the banshee and he hit a rock and broke one. I just took both off and didnt like it at first but i havnt had any problem when trail riding and jumping. Most of the time i dont even have my right foot on the peg( bad habbit) becasue of the shitty peg position, i keep it towards the back and even then i never had a problem
