  1. I found a thick-walled keen-sert and might try that, if that does not work, I will find something that will work.
  2. You are right about it being a 8 x 1.25 stud BUT I can't do that because It already had a Time-sert in it and with those you have to drill the hole out like you do with a helicoil. They are supposed to be better than helicoils. I will have to either get a thicker stud or new cases.
  3. I thought about getting a 3/8 threaded rod and making one for just that one hole, heli-coils arent that much right now, I just have to see if a 3/8 will go through the bolt hole in the cylinder.
  4. I thought about getting a new case but money is kind of tight now, Fixing the banshee, school and diesel prices are going to kill me.
  5. I got my Banshee put back together today and when I was tightening the cylinder bolts down one of them pulled right out of the case. It pulled the Time-sert right out, now it only unscrews it if i tigten it more. The other 3 tightened down to the specs in my Clymer Manual. Will 3 bolts hold a 68mm bore and 4mm stroker? I will have the stock head, with bigger carbs. I figured after I putt the head on and tightened it down that the other cylinder would help hold it down. All 4 bolts held on the other side and all 10 head bolts torqued down to spec. Do you think it will hold? If not What should I do to fix this problem? Bigger Tme-sert? Suggestions are appreciated.
