  1. where do these people come from?!?! I call BS if you arent producing pics and what not.
  2. tell him to start it next time...
  3. i tried my hand at polishing some stuff and learned REALLY REALLY fast why people make money at polishing. it's a bitch. I ended up having a really shiny plate of aluminum (which became my under seat key relocation plate), grimy wheels and a huge nasty spot on my clothes. It really is a PITA...you have to have a good knack for knowing when you have enough, but not too much compound on the wheel.
  4. i think that is only on a local level. i have heard of towns (very rural) that allow you to ride on the street, but I don't think you can ride like I would LIKE to ride on the street. I know in my area (Farmington), that I have been told not to ride on the street even outside of city limits. That is how my brother actually got his shee back after it was stolen, the dude was riding it on a road somewhere and got pulled over. I have personally rode mine through town in the snow when everything was shut down due to weather. No one pulled me over, but honestly, how would they?

  6. not taking sides or anything...just statements based on what I see. I dont know either person, so I'm not biased. First, regarding all of the stuff, technically, you are lucky you got any of it back because if he did ANY work to it at all and you didnt pay him for it, he can put a lien against it and sell it for whatever he likes for his labor. The fact that he gave you most of the stuff back is lucky for you because he could have kept it and demanded that you pay him for the labor that you asked him to do in the first place. The fact that you changed your mind doesnt change the fact that you asked him to part it to begin with. Second, him talking about loading a Glock isn't threatening to kill you. You keep saying over and over again how you are gonna "beat his ass" and "fight like a man". Those are threats that he can file against you. If you tell him you are coming over and kicking his ass, he has every right to defend himself. Now, top that with you have taken other people over there and now THEY are saying they are gonna kick his ass and talking about how much bigger everyone is than him is a blantant threat to him. Lastly, Tae Kwon Do is not the greatest martial arts to have under your belt in a fight. Basic street fights will destroy someone trying to use Tae Kwon Do...I've seen it a million times. I beat the hell out of a guy who teaches Tae Kwon Do. Don't bank on Tae Kwon Do as your secret weapon hidden in your sleeve, the gun will beat ANY martial arts. BTW, I took Tae Kwon Do as well as several years of combative martial arts (JKD, Jun Fan, Pencak Silat, Mande Muda Silat, Escrima, etc), so I have some credibility in that arena. To ANYONE talking mindless threats on forums like this, I offer this advice to you: Be VERY VERY careful what you say online. If something was to happen, it can and will be used in court to prosecute you. I am a member of www.3si.org (a 3000GT / Stealth board) and someone on there gave advice about killing someone who keyed their car. This person was later tried for murdering a couple people and they used the posts on the board as evidence and subpoenaed the admin of the board to testify in court. Like I said...not taking sides, just stating the "should be" obvious.
  7. are you talking by K Bridge Park or further down the river? I used to camp at K Bridge Park all the time, but since the Corps of Engineers took it over, you can't ride out there anymore...
  8. no, you would not have made it...you would have sucked water into your intake=BAD. where did you go riding on black river? im in farmington and was riding yesterday at st joe state park...didnt know there was anywhere to ride on black river anymore.
  9. i have a tecate4...CRAZY fast bike. needs a motor now though. if you pick this one up with the other motor and want to recoop some money, give me a holler...we could work something out on the motor.
  10. dirtrider and brokestonedbiker are the same guy? damnit...i hate that fucker... and this ramboo bastard...WTF? BAN 'EM!!!!
  11. i like seeing my suspension/wheels and I can see whats going on around my front end. the sick as hell look is an outstanding byproduct of function for me.
  12. holy "threads back from the dead"...where the hell did you come from and why bring this thing back to life? and my degree means what to you?

  14. hope this helps explain things. X = where factory balance holes would be drilled (thicker section of wall) Y = thinner section of wall You can see how the original OD is off center in comparison to the rest of the part. If you datum off of the center sleeve (this is machined) and grind away the OD, it will be balanced as you end up with identical wall thickness all the way around the part. The inside of the flywheel (I/D), where the magnetos sit, is machined as well from the center sleeve, so that is concentric. The only part not even, due to stamping, is the OD. The reason that some are drilled and some are not is because you cannot predict the stretching of the material when it is stamped and it needs to be balanced AFTER it is stamped and the insides have been machined. The only balance problems would come in when you leave that little "mohawk" on the outside. If the wall thicknesses varied already, then that "mohawk" will still have that variance unless it has a grind put to it as well.
  15. OMFG...that is one hard core drinker. you REALLY have to love your alcohol to do that LMAO
  16. need me to come to your "shop" and show you how to make them efficiently? i charge 125.00 an hour plus travel expenses, but since I'm supposedly your "CUZ", I'll cut you a break and do it for 100.00 an hour plus the plane ticket, I'll cover my own hotel and food. no, I don't want one and I will shut up for now, anyone who buys one is getting ganked...if they still want one then kewl...congratulations to you, you duped them.
  17. for 25.00 you should at least make it look better than just a chopped chunk of bar stock with holes drill in it. shit, i can make that and sell it for 10.00 or less and polished for 25.00. I have drawings of one that is adjustable on the fly and was planning on selling for not much more than 25.00 and it adds the ability to change your ride height with a wrench and without removing anything. my local machine shop said he could make something like they are selling on ebay for 5.00 LOL...and that one is machined on a mill. I bought one off of ebay for 20.00 and it was decent work but still needed some cleaning...no biggie cuz it was just 20.00. sorry to steal your thunder dude...but that's a rip to cut some bar stock and drill some holes in it for 25.00.

  19. most good grips have little slots for the safety wire...just put the wire there
  20. dumb ass had no helmet on either...good God...that looks painful
  21. spray paint...been using it all winter and the entire spring...no problems
  22. no, they don't cut square...they cut shapes accurately, but the thicker, harder material diverts the stream to one side and they don't cut square...
  23. doesnt cut square...leaves a fantastic finish though...
  24. I keep trying to stay open minded about it...but like CottonEyedJoe said..."thats a horrific visual" I don't care what they do behind closed doors but damnit man (men)...leave it BEHIND CLOSED doors. as far as "natural", it's not natural...that's why poo stinks...it's a sign to tell you to stay back from there. some things are made to go places, cars in garages, legs in pants, penis in vagina...some things are NOT make to go in places, four wheelers in cars, legs in shirts and guys in guys...thats just not right. can i put my leg in my shirt? sure...but it's not supposed to happen. it's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
