  1. Going on June 7th! Nothing beats Robert Plant live though... where are you seeing them in June? if it's in Kansas, thats not really too far away as long as it isn't the other side of the state from me... I see they have a show in Wichita on the 11th, but don't see anything for the 7th. would be awesome if they are closer than Wichita on the 7th...
  2. For a GREAT show, go see A Perfect Circle...holy SHITBALLS man...what an awesome show. sredish - Cliff 'em All is still in my cabinet and still gets watched. I saw it this past weekend on DVD and am gonna pick it up later this week.
  3. I once lost a 600.00 Seiko riding my Tecate 4 and vowed I would never ride with my watch on again. I'm like you, I never take off my watch except when riding my 'shee or playing hockey (once or twice a week). I wear it in the shower, swimming and everywhere else but those two things.
  4. Old school Metallica = New school Metallica = GHEY!!! I saw Metallica back in the day and that was awesome...I wouldn't go see them weak minded, money grubbing fucks if their life depended on it. <<Dons flame suit>>
  5. hey...bringing back a dying thread, but there seems to be some expertise here has anyone heard of a Pansat Receiver or "free to air receivers"? no card, RS232 port in the back, download software to your computer, hook up to receiver, reprogram receiver, repoint your dish to new coordinates, sit back and enjoy all of dish network's channels. they go for approximately 200.00 on ebay. just heard some stuff about it, thought i would pass it on. once again, all of my work with the writers was for a client for security purposes but thought those of you interested may want to look into it...
  6. unless I am missing something, the actual piston isn't ported...so you cant buy a "ported piston" if I am missing something, someone please explain where the "ports" would go on a "ported piston"
  7. you are very correct...they own most of the sites and have raided most of the companies that sell the equipment. That is how they got my name from a database where I bought a writer for security cards. then, they tried to gank me for a bunch of money
  8. i wasnt saying run two batteries, one yellow top would be plenty. also, the desert heat won't kill it...the optima batteries are made for the harsh stuff...heat, cold, vibration...blah blah blah
  9. hey...do a search, there is a dude selling two yellow top optima batteries for 200.00, great price for both batteries. if you are running lights and all too, just one of those would push that stuff no problem.
  10. these are GREAT batteries. anyone with a four wheel drive that plays in it should have one of these. also, anyone running a serious car audio system should be powered by one of these yellow tops. two of them for 200.00 is a great buy, buy both and set up a two battery system in your car or truck for system, lights, winch etc... free bump for ya...
  11. sorry...not "hacking"....DUH...testing. of course, my bad
  12. im shocked this many people are talking about this on a public forum LOL also shocked that this many people are hacking cards...check out DirecTV's booth at the CES show and you will see that they are not hurting from people hacking their signal LMAO
  13. I know in MO...where at in MO? I'm in Farmington, about two miles from St. Joe State Park (not to be confused with St. Joseph, MO). I am about an hour south of St. Louis.
  14. I got one of those "letters" from them and we bought a reader/writer to work on security options for a local sheriff's department. I get this letter from "Dave" telling me they are going to prosecute me unless I pay them $20k. I called the number and told them to f*ck off, my lawyer already had the letter in hand. Haven't heard anything else back from them. This was about two months ago.
  15. where is deep water at? im all for meeting up with some more people to go riding with...
  16. order them from McMaster Carr...I have bought tons of those for various engineering projects I have worked on in the past. www.mcmaster.com
  17. never ever tasted alcohol...not because religion or parents or anything...but, a CRAZY concept that I like to call..."I didn't want to". doesn't bother me when people do, just not my thing. Never had any desire to drink.
  18. Yellow Top Optima...GREAT battery for running a system off of. Plus, can be mounted inside cuz it doesn't give off fumes.
  19. it was on that David Spade movie where he played a child actor...it was his "catch phrase". it was an extremely GHEY movie...not even funny tidbits to pick out.
  20. DAMN....was supposed to be multimeter sorry about your cup of coffee banshee04le was right about 11.5 volts. when mine would click off, it was dropping down to 11. I don't think a cap is necessary if it just started doing it. sounds like corrosion or a connection has gotten loose. if it did it as soon as you did the install, then I would point towards a cap. one thing about a cap though is that it just holds charge for a short time while the bass hits hard. if you are having a charging problem, it will only help for a short while as you wont be sending a good charge to the cap. fix the problem first, then if see a crazy drop when the bass hits hard, slap a cap in there. dont waster your money for a cap for something that may be a free fix...
  21. check your voltage with an ohmeter right at the amp. amps require a minimum voltage to run and when your alternator dips below that AT the amp, the amp will click off... had same thing happen in my car and added a second battery and it went away...you dont need to add a second battery im sure...maybe clean your terminals and all power connections
