Sand Fest-Little Sahara Ok
No Limit Powersports replied to TNTS355's topic in Riding and Events Forum
We will be out weds night if all goes well. The rest of my crew won't be there till thurs and friday. If anybody needs anything we can bring it. We usually bring tons of stuff anyway. Just let me know. Andy -
A kit is no problem just give me a shout and ill set you up with everything you need.
-
We usually cut or blaster domes a little different but essentially most head manufacturer uses a 11* dome.
-
Ok guys the serval is now available. I got a limited supply of them in so it will be first come first serve. Price is $798 plated and ready to run. Pistons are $199 if purchased at the same time. You will also need 4 pipe plugs, 2 stud extenders, base gasket and domes. Andy
-
It will accept all aftermarket heads, blaster pistons. Being it is a 68 bore you will need big bore domes. The price is for the the cylinder alone. we have heads for 195 + 65 for domes. I got a limited supply of Servals in as of today. Anybody who is interested let me know but it will be first come first serve. Andy

I really want to try race fuel but i doubt we do alky as this is a duner cylinder and i don't see a lot of duners doing alky. I think with some more compression/timing and a better fuel to cover it with some shearers 90 is attainable. I also see a low end pipe and high compression coming to see just how low i can make this sucker come on.
-
Right now only 4mm but Calvin is going to do a stock stroke version in the near future.
-
We will do a separate report on the wompus cat cylinder as soon as its released. For now lets keep this post on track if we can. Cylinders are priced 798 plated and deburred just as the cylinder dynoed in this post was. I should have some week after next for everyone interested.
-
No its a drag motor basically for the guys who want a cub or dm but don't want people to be able to tell.
-
The wompus is a stealthy looking cylinder. Basically a oem look alike cylinder that will perform like it should.
-
No there will not be a power valve setup. PV are used to give a high exhaust timing a lower timing for a bottem end grunt, these cylinders are already low. Lowering them another 10* would prolly hurt them more than help them. The cheetah is already available and is too pricey imo for the guys looking for this type of motor. Dave hit it on the head.
-
Should have one fopr testing soon I would say a couple months out right now from production. Wes ill look threw some dyno charts but 99% of everything I have is alky.
-
That would be Mr. Calvin Pollet owner of CP industries and the make of all the cheetah, cubs, and other cat cylinders that you are referring to as an idiot. LOL i guess so he has a ton of cats out there and more to go cheetah cheetah cub caracal sphynx scimitar liger serval sabertooth cougar panther wompus puma and prolly more that im forgetting lol
-
We do not manipulate numbers, I would have no reason to if the cylinder did not perform well I would have took that back to Calvin and we would have went back to the drawing board. The casting is identical to a cub including the intake the only difference is exhaust and transfer height thats it. Without doing some measuring and the small sc cast on the inside of the intake you cannot tell the difference between this and a cub.
-
This are a cp cylinder made by the same people who make the cub right here in OK. Right now they are only available in a 68x58 which is a 68 bore 4mm and if you use a 115 rod like most 4mm do just a simple blaster piston will suffice. If you use a 110mm rod a special piston like the 9768m06800 will have to be used. They are setup identical to the cub just port timing differences.
-
I agree dollar for dollar the margins in a cub or serval arent as good as people think. I can make more money porting but if my time is worth anything i would rather sell cylinders then port any day! At the end of the day i want to make people happy with there hard earned money spent. I love seeing the look on peoples face after a port job and thats what its all about is pleasing the customer whether it be from my porting or selling a cylinder and right now its going to be hard to beat a serval!
-
I jumped in the dyno section and found this one. And this really is a fairly good curve for a oem cylinder. LINK
-
I have tons of dyno sheets but 99% of everything i have is cubs or bigger on alky Here is an as cast cub 392 on alky and out of frames servalvscub.pdf
-
I think that these are going to be the hot ticket for anybody looking for a good dune port/play port type of cylinder. Dont get me wrong i think porting still has its place on a oem cylinder but honestly this will come out on top. I make more money porting than selling cylinders but i think people will be happier with the serval and thats what were here for.
-
The serval cat is as cast dune port. Basically it is a very low port timing cub. If i remember Calvin told me that the exhaust was like 188*. It is identical to a cub on the outside just the port timings are low. Another thing that is great about it is if you decide later "hey i want to drag now" this little motor can do it and it can be ported just like a cub. They should be going on sale very soon Calvin was waiting for me to get some preliminary testing done to make sure he was where he wanted to be and i think he is! The target price is lower than a cub but thats if he can get the price where he wants it.
-
28 pwks I have my pipe selection is kinda limited. I think I might be able to pull off some t5's off of another bike which will be very comparable to the PC fmf and others.
-
They are identical to a cub exterior. Beyond the dyno sheet i got to ride the bike around for a little while before we strapped it down and it was a hoot to ride. Tons of usable power. You could lug it into a corner and power right out of it without touching the clutch. Its going to be a really fun duner/trail motor. I think with a little different dome/carb/pipe setup we could see more down low power than any oem cylinder can make and still pull on top!
-
Ok guys got the new serval cat running! I must say it is an absolute hoot to ride. The thing feels like the best stock cylinder dune port that we have done but pulls like a cub on top! This was a very conservative setup and we are going to try a few others very soon. Setup was like this As casted serval cat 68x58 22cc domes pump fuel (91 oct) +4 on the plate 34 pj's cgl needle 158 main. K&N Pods Cpi sb inframes The needle wasnt quite right it was lean off idle on the dyno but wasnt bad. I should be able to get more down low with more tuning or different carbs i really dont like pj's very well Overall the thing has awesome "usable power" and is a home run for CP! Great job Calvin serval1.pdf
