  7. 798 is just the cylinder. Pistons price will vary if your running 110mm rod or 115mm rod.
  8. Im wondering what cub that you are referring to...im assuming that since you are comparing a 80hp serval that you are talking about the one we built and it was a 68x58. Our 68x58 drag ported cubs make 110-115 all day and we have done it time and time again. Another thing to consider is that the serval was built to have a lot of usable power which means that it has a real broad powerband and the roll on is incredible. A cub is usually a hard hit very revy motor. A cub can be built to have good usable power but the builder must work at it a little its not coming free. A as cast serval will never get to 100+ it can however get there with porting but thats what a cub is. I think that the serval is a awesome motor and will probably fit the masses better than a cub will. With that said if you show up with a properly setup serval to the drag strip and properly setup cub is there your probably not going to be as happy as you would be in the dunes or trails.
  9. These cylinders are the best thing that we have tested to date for a killer dune/trail setup. Jeff tell us a little more about the setups you tested. Do you have any of your dyno sheets? Its interesting seeing the different setups as the builders get there testing done, and how everybody turns out the new product for the public. Other than mine i have seen 2 others done and they keep impressing me.

  13. Here is a dyno graph from another reputable builder Specs are he degree it all out 187 exhaust 123 transfer 180 tripples 35 pwk air strikers VFIII 160 cranking compression .05 squish clearance Shearer Inframes All off the shelf stuff with no porting at all he also did the same setup with the cpi inframe and it peaked at 8400 just like mine
  14. I really dont see this being a good comparison as you are comparing a crank dyno number to a chassis. Like i said on atvdra and Nate and most will agree there will be at least a 15% loss from one to another if not 20%. Not saying your setup is a bad setup or saying it didnt do what you posted, it did, but you are comparing apples to oranges.
  15. No you shouldnt have to. Sometimes if the cases are really rough its needed but i never do it. Just make sure and leak down.
  16. Ok guys for all of you that dont want to do a crank but want a Serval its now available. They are a 68x54 = 392cc no case work needed just bolt on and go! I got 2 of them in stock if anybody is interested. If you are using a 110mm rod (stock) a 9768m06800 piston will be used or if your using a 115mm rod a blaster piston can be used. Prices start at 798 for the cylinder. Packages available. Let me know Andy
