  1. I've been saying that for years. It's already grounded in the harness. I've ran zero grounds, and even had the coil zip tied on, so it wasn't grounded either.
  2. You'll go much slower.
  3. RDZ record has been blown away by a guy that runs 14 staggereds. Also, Rob doesn't even run those tires anymore. He does run some style of small roll out flat paddle though, which seem to work very well. I just didn't want the OP to go buy some over aggressive tires based in what works for a minority of racers. Rjatv may run at a track where you need a lot of paddle. I'd say look at the bikes at your track that lay down good numbers and go from there.
  4. Why not bore the carbs? Not saying that he should or shouldn't, just wondering what are your thoughts on that for this motor.
  5. Dirt bike radiators work well. You can use conduit clamps to mount it.
  6. Not that I know of. The year before they were jumping hills with the rental car.
  7. Better put the bottle on that shit!! K&T put a fogger on their rental van and had the hose running out the window doing donuts and shit at Leerjak. Until it finally got stuck.
  8. By great success you mean mid to low 1.3 60 ft, or that you run better than everyone else? (No disrespect intended at all, just that "success" gets thrown around a lot.)
  9. Of course track surface can make a big difference. You can accommodate for that with tire pressure and/or clutch. On a hard hooking track most Cubs wouldn't pull an 18 paddle.
  10. Make sure the key isn't sheared. What kind of flywheel? OeM or RS junk? I've had a bad flywheel do that.
  11. 14 staggered. Hell we run 14 staggered on a 650 cc. You can make any tire work, but the less tire you can get away with the better.
  12. They run a stator.
  13. Head gasket. Don't keep riding it like that.
  14. I'm not sure what kind, but I think the flywheel has to be custom made.
  15. Yep Joe at PPS makes a snomo CDI work somehow.
  16. I agree the biggest downfall is that you don't know what is actually loaded in each curve, nor can you even confirm what you think is there. But they do fail more than OEM. I've never had OeM fail and had 1 or 2 dynas. By fail I mean they do not work. It is not a spark plug resistor issue.
  17. 14 staggered extremes. Any roll out can work.
  18. Flickerwood in Fruitland MO
  19. I wonder if the plastic down the side tricks the beams. I've wondered that about some others that run that. I venture to say that it does.

    Woodruff key

You can buy one from a hardware store and grind it to fit.
  21. What's wrong with it? Its common for the part where to cable goes to get loose.
  22. Sometimes mph just means it took too long to get from point A to point B.
